Take Charge Bikes

Bike has broken 6 times in 10 months due to engine failure, Take Charge Bikes sold me a bike not fit for purpose and then are now telling me its my fault for buying the bike in the first place. £1100 for a bike is not cheap, you would expect for that price it would be able to cycle 2.5 miles up the Wellsway once a day 3 days a week without breaking.

Now the shop have had my bike for 6 weeks without fixing it. The owner has told me I should buy a more expensive bike for £800 more. Bike is on the cycle to work scheme so I am helpless as I don't own the bike.
Take Charge Bikes won't give me a full refund, even after I have explained that under the Consumer Rights act 2015 the bike is not fit for purpose.

I am disgusted, upset and angry at this shop. I wish I never bought the bike from them as it has caused me nothing but grief. Take Charge told me they have problems with this brand of bike and yet they are still selling it to people.

This shop has no interest in helping me whatsoever. I want everyone to know so they don't have to fight for their money back like I am.

Very friendly, helpful and my bike runs smoothly now. Also service is pretty well immediate, not like another shop in Bath who gave me a 3 week waiting time to repair my bike. I am glad they are busy, but when you use your bike daily, go to Take Charge and get it done quickly. Always been happy with the service here, but not yet bought an electric bike, just used for servicing my Pashley gents bike and a Giant Defy road bike.
