Seasons greetings one and all. In the last year I have finished writing and illustrating my soon to be published as yet untitled book on British birds,had my first but not last solo exhibition,and been sorting out my back catalog of 75 years worth of paintings, which my son and business partner have been framing and updating at A&G Bespoke Picture Framers&Restorers in Makers Yard Studios.Leicester I now have over 100 framed pictures of various birds and landscapes all for sal...e,with more to come as I have started to work in/with oils much to my sons' delight having made me canvases. Have been thinking of how interesting it would be to have another show but this time with another preferably female artist of adifferent discipline or style/subject matter. Remember tomorrow 17:30 -21:00 the opening of Chloe's very first solo show .All pictures will be available as prints in limited edtions of 25 only. A few of the pictures on show have been very kindly lent to us from their owners. The exhibition will run to the 4th August. The Lightbox Gallery is open from 10:00 -17;00 Monday to Friday.... Ten days to go and Chloë has cherry picked 100 odd paintings from her last 75 years illustrating and my task is to whittle it down to 35/40 to open the show with. All pictures will be offered as prints in limited edition runs of 25 each to start with.

We have finalised the exact dates of the A Life in Art exhibition. It will open on the 10th of July,hopefully with Chloe in attendance to help me. If she isn't up for it on that night I hope she will have the energy to give a little talk on the 15th as that is her 90th birthday and we can have a bit of a party to celebrate.
