Presently, there are no sharks in our open water swim lake! So open water swimming tonight and Thursday from 5-8pm. Also Saturday mornings 8-10am.

User

We have one more night left here and all I can say on behalf of me and my family this place is truly amazing! Will definitely be back, could of stayed another week no problem or more, until next time which I hope won't be long!!

User

The pitch was clean toilets spotless and smelling of disinfection. My grandson paid £5for an hour on a paddle board and ended up being on for over 1 and 3/4 hours how is that for value. We booked for 4 nights but will have to come home after only 2 nights but they have credited us forthe 2 nights. We will definatly be back again. Staff all very helpful.

User

Loved it. Just returned from a camping weekend with family and friends. It was great. Staff helpful and pool was a god send in the hot weather!

Suggestion: toilet block in the lagoon camping area?

Otherwise spot on, can’t wait to come back.

User

Fantastic service, the advice given when I purchased my new ski's was awesome. They performed exactly as described. Will definitely be back in the future when I need some more kit.

User

Camped over a few times here, clean and tidy

Mainline trains close by are noisy on Saturday nights

Mainly use the lake for jetskiing, great place, all members are friendly and happy to help out if need be. The staff running the lakes for watersports have made us so welcome here. Friday night in the clubhouse is always pumping

User

Brilliant event tea and tobaggoning with santa suggestions for next time have the little kids on the small slope so the bigger kids don't have to stop halfway down the slope to stop themselves from hitting the little kids takes the whole fun away will be booking up for next year

User

Went paddle boarding with friends and family, the staff were very friendly, and the cost todo this was very good we had such a laugh and a good time, we will defo be back, went to the bar for food and drink, baguettes and paninis were good, pizza not so nice

User

The site is lovely and spacious, lots of room between pitches and the children's play area is great. The "heated" swimming pool was freezing and dirty though. The showers and toilet block could do with a refurb' and although the cleaners did come in the morning they could do with being checked on throughout the day. The campsite dies require more showers/toilets for its size, however, saying that I never had to wait and the water was always hot.

It's a good central base to go off for the day.

User

For a Christmas treat we booked tobogganing on Christmas eve, was told there was no weight restriction which was great as some people in our group are on the heavy side. Well that's all good and well if they where able to provide different size tobogganing sleighs and not just small ones. Enjoyed the day but if they are going to let adults on the slops then at least provide sleighs that the adults can ride on and not silly small ones that you can't fit your bum on and not enjoy going down the slop in comfort.

User

Well we booked up as it sounded perfect! Well what can I say we arrived got checked in staff were friendly and helpful enough. However we booked this campsite so we could take the children swimming something we don't get to do very often we paid the extra £16 full price for a two hour slot in a heated swimming pool. However it was freezing cold due to a faulty boiler and reading the reviews it's been faulty since May/June come on Tallington if you are going to advertise a heated pool then provide one and judging by the amount of guests staying they would easily pay for the repairs or boiler replacement. So so disappointed and so were our children!

User

We had never been before Saturday and after our experience we won't be coming again! We went to meet some friends. We paid our money to go swimming. The lady asked us have you ever been here before and we said no. She gave us our bands and pointed us in the direction of the pool. So we went off. After settling down we went to get a drink at the bar - well all of the staff looked bored and miserable although they served us well enough. Just before 2pm I went to get some chips for us all. As I had mentioned we were outside, the guy said you have to wait here and take them outside with you - which I did. My friend mentioned that they were half the portion of the ones she had a few weekends before. I had literally got back to my seat to be greeted my a very rude lady who told me I had to get out as the session had ended. Bearing in mind this was the first I knew about it as nobody had told me throughout the day, and I had just sat down with food. When I tried to explain that I was happy to leave but could I at least let my 3 year old eat her chips and get dressed I was very abruptly told no. When I explained that I hadn't been told my session finished at 2 she more or less said it wasn't her problem. I had to wrap my 3 year old in a towel as she was freezing due the pool water being freezing cold and try and get her dressed whilst she was eating her chips at the same time. If the lady had just shown a bit of understanding I wouldn't have minded but she was so rude!

User

We did the tea and tobogganing with santa on Thursday. It was awful. No organization from the staff...The slope was totally dry and the children hated it as they werent sliding down it at all.The meal with santa was chaos and very rude staff.Lots of parents complained but no one listened to us.It could be fantastic but we defo wont be going again.Sad disappointed children.

User

Waited in the queue for one hour yesterday for the swimming pool, my friend being heavily pregnant stuck in the sun the entire time. To be told by a member of the public who had just got turned away that the tickets had already been sold before we’d even started queuing. Not even members of staff that walked by had bothered to tell us this. Luckily the food we had ordered before we got in the queue took an hour to come so it hadn’t gone cold by the time got back to the table. We now had a very upset 4 year old and a wasted afternoon.

User

My then 5 year old daughter was bitten by a tick at Tallington Lakes and contracted Lymes disease, she went through months of treatments, suffered horrible side effects, needed numerous general anaesthetics for MRI's and lumbar punctures ... my main aim of my review is to raise awareness, if you get a bullseyes type rash around a bite, please seek medical advice asap, my poor review is not the fact of the tick bite but the utter lack of customer care, they barely acknowledged the importance of this when I contacted them, I simply asked they raise awareness and offer advice on how tick bites can be prevented (repellents / appropriate clothing) they did nothing, and didn't even have the decency to make contact to ask me how my daughter was .... clearly money is more important here then the health and safety of their customers ... would never return, ticks can be anywhere but why would you not do the decent thing and offer advice/posters/leaflets ....

User

Just come back after a few days away, came home a day early. We were a large group and disappointed, the food was awful.. it was that bad I had to complain and the manager couldn't apologise enough and gave us all a full refund. The showers were burning hot "too hot to actually even have a shower" they closed the swimming pool on the Tuesday - one member of staff said they had to after the w'end they had had! The next member of staff said it was because boiler had broken!!! ( so who knows the real reason )

The paddle boarding was great even though they were very busy thry soon accommodated our large group, maybe be better if you could ring and pay to book time slots!

I can say we won't be returning to tallington lakes.

I called this morning to cancel snowboarding lessons due to unsafe driving conditions and was told I could not have a refund or change my date, £180 lost and I received terrible service throughout

User

I called at 4pm this afternoon to make sure the slopes were open, I was told yes we are open till 7pm tonight. I bought my 4yr old girl new snow trousers for her first time sledging there. I picked her up from nursery early, she was happy and excited all the way there, which took an hour to get there from Peterborough in bad traffic tonight. Arrived at just after 6:15pm and there no one there. The place was closed and I am left with a very disappointed child.

Heavy snow last night/this morning, our car can’t get out the drive because of ice, main roads are all closed, meant we couldn’t drive all the way from Lincoln to Tallington, rang first thing this morning to ask if we could have a refund or switch weekends and they’ve said because we’ve not given 24 hours cancelation notice, we’re not getting a refund and we can’t switch to a different date. £180 down the drain because we didn’t know we’d be snowed in 24 hours ago, great

User

Cannot believe how unaccommodating this place is! Lesson booked and paid for but due to their "company policy" won't let us move it after I informed them my son was sick! Have spent a fortune on lessons and items from their shop and they treat us like this! Plus we were NEVER informed about their cancellation policy. And I bet their comment will be "thanks for your feedback"!! They don't care!
