Sending out all the love to the beautiful Rachel and Dale who were married at Ormesby Hall Weddings (NT Ormesby Hall) this weekend.
Their styling choices for the marquee created an absolutely enchanting summer, secret garden and the set up they'd left me for the cake was also a total dream.

I always try really hard to keep Sundays free after a hectic end of the week. Today we had a trip to Great Ayton for lunch at the Velveteen Rabbit and then, If course, a trip to Suggitt’s for ice cream.
Now I’m trying this new thing where I get organised for the week ahead on a Sunday evening. Wish me luck...! 🤣 If you’ve got a cake booked in for this week I’ll be in touch tomorrow to confirm all those final details.

Lovely blooms are not just reserved for drip cakes!! 🥰
We combined a super tall Victoria sponge, pretty pink icing, some super cute animals and loads of lovely greenery to create this lush jungle 1st birthday cake.
And FYI - to make sure things are staying food safe I used florist tape to attach the leaves to kebab sticks to keep the stems out of the cake itself 🌿🌿

We love this set up for Harry’s 1st birthday celebrations by his lovely parents, Stefanie & Jason.
There was a bit of a tale with this cake: a wobbly balloon, torrential rain, a cake swap in a car park into a very fast car that made me hold my breathe until I knew the cake was home in one piece!
But we did it and it was all worth it to give Harry a happy birthday! 🎉 🎈 🥳

Are Jaffa Cakes biscuits or Cakes?

I love doing cakes for Leah - she always comes to me with an idea and a beautiful reason behind it.
Leah is all about keeping the magic alive for her children and grandchildren so this year, for her granddaughter Sadie’s 1st birthday, she wanted to start her off on the right foot with an enchanted garden fairy party. And you know me - anything magical is right up my street!
This was one of those cakes where even if I’d had a bunch more hours it still wouldn’t have been enou...gh time - sometimes the hardest part if decorating is knowing when to stop! 🙈

Good evening everyone! Hope you’ve been enjoying this lovely sunny day!
Big thank you to everyone who ordered a cake over the weekend - you kept me very busy and I made the most mess I have made in a long time! Mama Tallulah is on holiday and it’s a good job really... there was glitter and sprinkles everywhere! EVERYWHERE! Pretty sure I had a thin layer of sparkly covering me when I was finished.
Apologies to Harry whose Fortnite cake was the only one that didn’t need glitte...r but may have ended up with a bit of a glint to it...!
And let’s extend those apologies to Sam and friends whose house was probably also covered in sprinkles after they cut into this baby shower cake ☺️💕
