The Tally Ho! country Inn and brewery in Hatherleigh, near Okehampton, require an enthusiastic Chef / Cook to join our team, working four/five days a week over split shifts including weekends. We would be interested in hearing from anyone who wishes to work fewer days than these, but split shifts and weekend working remains a requirement. There will also be an expectation of flexibility in order to cover the other Chef whilst they are on leave, and at particularly busy times ...of the year. You must be enthusiastic, hard working and enjoy working as part of a small team. It is essential that you have the following attributes;-Excellent communication and customer care skills/ the flexibility to deal with the varied workload and working times/the ability to work well with others/ good organisational skills/ a responsible attitude to your working environment/an awareness of Health & Safety. Experience is essential. You will also be dedicated, committed, have a passion for the job and able to pick up and learn quickly as you will be required to work independently as soon as possible.This is not a live-in position

Saturday 23rd December - Live music with Bleeding 4 strings and Silk and strings they will play a mix of old favourites, Christmas and party songs . Come along and join in the fun!!!!! 9.00pm

Sunday 31st December - New Year's Eve Fancy dress party with Benny's disco 9.00pm The theme this year is "The Sea" (Come as your favourite pirate, mermaid, sailor, fish, mammal, sea bird or anything else to do with The Sea) Free jelly shot for everybody in costume and don't forget to request your favourite song. Doors will close at 12.30
