Tamarind is a family run business set in the heart of Teversham, Cambridge. It welcomes guests with its exotic flavours and mouth watering tastes.
Tamarind Indian Cuisine Description
Tamarind underwent a full refurbishment that started in the summer of 2008. Previously the village pub, it is now run by the Rahman family with Mr Taybur Rahman at the forefront utilising his knowledge, experience and expertise that spans over 35 years to provide the finest Indian cuisine.
The name ‘Tamarind’ derives from the tropical Asian evergreen tree. The long pods contain the small seeds embedded in an edible pulp, which is widely referred to as tamarind. We offer guests our complimentary homemade tamarind sauce to enjoy alongside their starter.

Sunday Buffet was really good value and service great, go there!
One of the best in cambridge would defiantly go back again
Lovely food, friendly and polite staff. They did over charge for the drinks but corrected it when questioned. Have been half a dozen times and will return. Not tried the Sunday Buffet yet.
