Tameside Canal Boat Trust operates the public trip boat "Still Waters" from Portland Basin, Ashton under Lyne. Public trips and private hire.

The 50-seat boat "Still Waters" offers public boat trips from Portland Basin Museum on most Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays at 12: 30, 1: 30 and 2: 30pm. No booking necessary for public trips - just turn up and pay on board!

The boat has disabled access and can be hired privately by schools and groups. Please phone 07482 188 026 for booking enquiries.
