If you're in need of a football fix this afternoon, Stalybridge Celtic host Nantwich Town at Bower Fold, while Hyde United entertain Bamber Bridge at Ewen Fields. Both games are in the FA Trophy.
Alternatively, a little further afield, Avro and Chadderton are both at home in the North West Counties First Division North.
We also have Dukinfield Town at home to Old Altrinchamians in the first round of the Gilcrsyt Cup.

Excellent paper

Local news that has happy stories as well as bad. Not just gloom & doom like the dailies, and a few other local papers.

Keep up the good work.

User

An excellent newspaper that is always an interesting read, plenty of local news from each area in Tameside, and good coverage of sport within the borough, with our football clubs given good space in the paper, the local clubs really deserve more support to be honest as they provide all any football fan could want, and your coverage is always worth a read.
