So I’m taking some choir members and talented students into Heart Northwest breakfast with Joel and Lorna again tomorrow. 7.30-8.30am approx. Featuring around 40 singers aged 8-80+. And a couple of very special guest soloists- Lily Kenny and Natalia Jacques.

Just updating you on our BRAND NEW VENUE from 1st October 2018. Hyde Central Methodist Church Crook Street/Norfolk Street ... Hyde SK14 1NQ
Sad to leave the Grafton Centre after several years there but times (and building managements) change and we were given 3 months notice rather suddenly and without warning, so had to act swiftly! Our new venue is a little bigger, more central and will hopefully accommodate our needs better (we are, after all, twice the size we were when we started!)

Huge well done to Tameside Voices tonight-3-4 hour marathon rehearsal AND a 3 hour concert-don’t know about you but I’m pooped! 20k steps done too (at least!) Some fun solos and groups too, and hopefully the audience enjoyed all the movie clips! Thanks all-and especially for the anniversary song and gifts (we’ll celebrate eventually once term has finished properly!) 🙂
... PS lovely to see a founder member all the way from down under!
PPS I THINK I have it all on video. Just need to edit my waffling out so be patient... ;-)
