Tanglewood Nursery School

Tanglewood Nursery School is an LEA Nursery School for children aged 3-4 years of age. We also have a 2yr old provision, Little Tanglewod. please call.

We are a local education Authority Nursery School. We run Term time only and offer five 3 hour sessions a week, either all mornings or all afternoons.
Our sessions are:
9am-12pm or
12. 45pm -3. 45pm
We are unable to offer a lunchtime facility

Children can start the term after their third birthday if a place is available and stay for a minimum of 3 terms up until they start school.

We ask that you sign a form to take all of your government 3yr old funding and ask for a weekly fee of £4 for snack and toy fund.
This covers the cost of snack, which is a variety of fruits and breads, cooking ingredients, a picnic and ice cream on our annual school trip as well as ingredients for our messy play activities such as slime, playdough, gloop etc, , , We also buy extra toys and books to be used in the classroom.

You can put children on the waiting list from their second birthday for Tanglewood and their 1st birthday for Little Tanglewood. Please ring to do this, there is no obligation to start when the time comes.

We have 3 classrooms, all with a qualified teacher, nursery nurse and support staff. We have a large back garden, our outside classroom and a forest garden for whole class sessions.

In September we opened a new 2 yr old provision, Little Tanglewood. Children come for three hour sessions, either mornings, afternoons or a mixture of both, with a minimum of two sessions a week.
Sessions are £15 each and we also accept 2 year old funding which starts the term after the child's second birthday if a place is available.
We accept workplace childcare vouchers.
