came here last night with my partner and my brother and his partner. I can safely say it was the nicest food we have ever ate. Staff were amazing, great atmosphere and food was second to non!

We have been to this restaurant several times and honestly can’t fault the place...... staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is great 👍🏽 burgers 🍔 and steaks 🥩 are cooked to perfection, but also cater for vegetarians 😃 I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Visited over the weekend and it was fantastic! Great staff, very welcoming and the food was on point. Steak was cooked to perfection and those fries are amazing.

We had to go back before we headed back home and amazing food second time round and service. Could t fault the meals we had. Top notch guys!

Recommended to eat here. Was not disappointed. Food was fantastic. Great quality and plentiful and drinks were good too. Really impressed with the kids meal, my son had. Fantastic value with ice-cream to follow. The girls who served us were really friendly. No complaints at all. 100% will be returning. Hot Chicken wraps and fried hallumi with dips were out of this world.

Popped in for lunch yesterday we got the burger.. it was an absolutely beautiful meal..then Craig made us a cocktail white Russian.. Best white Russian I have tasted in a long time...lovely relaxed feel to the place.. Staff were lovely thanks again we will be back xx

Great evening and extremely good Kebab and burger. The cherry on the top was Daryl creating a drink here and there as I could not make up my mind. Ask for the "Sneaky Daryl": it's soo good I think it should go on the menu

burgers are awesome but last night Lydia was an absolute star. Completely overshadowed the other workers there with her attentiveness

Nice chilled atmosphere, we didn’t book so were happy to wait 30 mins for a table. Mojitos were fabulous. We ordered the porky nachos to share which were awesome but I was very disappointed that we were only halfway through eating them when our main course arrived which took the shine off an otherwise outstanding meal

Great ambience. Young and very friendly and attentive staff. Dog friendly outside btw. Our food was completely mouthwatering delicious. We don’t visit Durham enough. What a find. Will deffo go back.

Lovely food but if the student discount is only for Durham students this should be stated on the menu and the advertising board. After asking for the student discount with my card and being refused I was then faced with a rude waitress after questioning why it was not stated.

Food was fabulous well apart from the eating of paper placed under the dirty fries, we had to wait for a boiled table, were not asked if we would like a drink while we waited and also had to wait 10 minutes for our side order to arrive with our main course.....in short food fab service rubbish very disappointed as this was for my partners birthday �

My partner and i visited last night we had booked the table midweek as we are aware it is a busy establishment , our table wasnt ready and were told that we would have to wait a few mins, 15 minutes later we were told that the people on our booked table were just sitting and we would have to sit at a diferent place , under the stairs , it wasnt the best table it was so cold , the food wasnt as good as it has been in the past , we enjoyed our night cause we were together but we left as soon as we had finished our meal simply because it was so cold

After raving reviews from my teenage daughters I thought I'd give it a whirl, to our dissapointment. When ordering I advised the waitress I could not see & read the menu, I had the ceasar salad with halloumi, which would of been lovely except the greasy anchovies & oil was too over powering, I did tell the lady of this & ate 2 pieces of cheese & a mouth full of salad. However I paid for it, I think in future you should advise people of these in the Salad. My partner got the Rancho burger which he ate but was nothing special. Wont be back Bad customer service!

Would not recommend the kebabs at all. First time we went chicken burger was amazing went last night and 4 of us ordered chicken kebab. 1 had to be sent back as it was still raw and the other 3 were disgusting. No money off the food bill or anything. Sat with empty plates for atleast half an hour and only asked if we wanted a drink once. Place wasn't even busy neither. Awful food and awful service

Over 30 minute wait for food in a quiet restaurant. Staff forgetting to give change.

Really disappointed as this place used to do the best burgers and loaded fries!

Chose American Burger and was advertised as Sweet Potato Fries what I got was terrible to eat. Only ate it because I’m diabetic and needed to get my sugars up otherwise I would have walked out without paying food was that bad.

I was offered a try off Nachos covered in cheese ketchup up and shredded meat.That was terrible

Then the main American Burger which was disgusting Burger was fluid undercooked the tomato in the bun was bigger and the so called sweet potato fries where normal supermarket fries.

Charged £10 for the main course I could have gone to Burger King and got better quality for £5 with a drink.

So much potential being wasted in a ideal location but food is rubbish and overpriced. Suggest owners go to America and see how proper burgers are cooked this been the US customer would have walked without paying on your current quality of product.

I stick to others places like River Thai when I’m in Durham at least their food is eatable.

Just been to try and go to Tango as Facebook page says open from 11. Opened the door to be told"We're not open yet". Asked what time they would be open and were told "After 12". Not sure if that meant at 12 or some arbitrary time after 12. Gave up and went somewhere else. Such a shame, my husband really wants to try this we only come to Durham very rarely and last time we tried to go the grills were down so we made a special journey in today. Not sure we'll try again.

I'd give no star's sadly it's not an option, called in at 5:30 wanting a table for five, bearing in mind the place was completely empty, we were told nothing was available,my son coincidentally called the restaurant at the same time to be told the same,we walked past at seven o'clock, the place was still half empty?? Opportunity missed tango, I don't think your staff wanted to much work.

£200 spent at Bill's, which we highly recommend!!!
