me and my friends were looking for a place to eat. so we decided to get nandos by regent st. but for some reason we checked out a shop just opposite the restaurant. knowing we were hungry. we proceeded to go to nandos. then i looked around and saw TARO. crossed the road checked the menu. so we just said lets give this restaurant a go. to our surprise FOOD was amazing. the california roll i ordered was UMAI! tempura dipped cali rolls?! thats heaven. big portions on the chicken and duck udons! and the katsudon!!!! love it! awesome! will be back! WE ARE THOSE 3 LAUGHING ASIAN DUDES!

We had the Bento boxes which are soooo good! Fresh fish and the fried food wasn’t greasy which is a breath of fresh air to other places. Price is fair especially for LDN town and it’s definitely a place to come back to!

This was a last minute choice and we didn't regret it all. The Katsu curry is divine and the staff really friendly xx

Taro is one of my favourite places to eat in London (It's actually the main thing I miss since changing workplace). There is a fantastic menu of traditional choices and so many vegetarian options , the food is fresh and fast and the restaraunt has a wonderful buzzy atmosphere - also it's completely affordable!

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Used to go to the one at the other side of Soho, which is now closed. So tried this out and wasn't disappointed. Love it!

I've been coming here for well over a decade and the food has been consistently delicious. Having now visited Japan I can also vouch for its authenticity. Great value and great food.

Great light lunches, all the food is freshly made and it's right in the middle of London. Been going here for years.

Great food at a reasonable price.....particularly recommend the chicken Teri don as well as the seaweed salad and the sushi👌🏼

Delicious food and great atmosphere!

The food was great as susual. Just a little slow on waiter service to get a menu and to respond to requests. We walked a long way from Aldwych to go there so was popgun for a little more service. But however food was great!

Awesome food! Mr. Taro is always there ensuring everyone had the best quality service!



Duck Don is my favourite but the sushi is also very good quality (and value).



If you're hungry around brewer street, this is the place to go.

Pretty average ramen for the price. Ordered through deliveroo and the ramen noodles came in a separate container which meant that (because the broth was filled too high) I spilt ramen everywhere when trying to get the noodles into the broth. Definitely my least favourite ramen I've had in London. But portions were huge which could be a positive for most people.

It was quite nice and the teriaky was very nice. I did not like the crowded atmosphere and I hate this service charge that it is actually obligatory and this is very annoying.
