We hope the first half of 2020 is going well. Many people like to start getting fit in January, so we thought we would let you know about some healthy curry options. Firstly, dishes such as Rogan Josh, Bhuna, Madras, Jalfrezi and Sags usually have less cream and have many healthy spices and vegetables. It's good to combine these with boiled rice or anything oven baked. Here is some information about our ingredients: - Chilli - Contain Vitamin A and C which are powerful antiox...idants, perfect for a post near year meal. - Cinnamon - Foods studies suggest it can help lower cholesterol levels - Cumin - Has a nutty, peppery flavour which makes it a popular ingredient, it also supports development of a healthy immune system - Cardamon - Considered to be a strong antiseptic and antimicrobial spice by herbalists - Turmeric - Aids digestion and boosts the immune system.

As a lover of curry we though you might be interested in this article https://www.theguardian.com/…/why-do-we -love-chilli-pharmac… It discusses how it is not just the flavour or even the pain which attracts us to hot curries. You can learn the pharmacology and psychology behind the reasons for our "enjoyment" of hot curries.
