So pleased with how beautifully this cosmetic shell worked out! This gentleman has a scarred, blind left eye and after struggling with soft cosmetic lenses, we fitted him with this hand-painted rigid shell. What an amazing result! (Published with kind permission of the patient).

George is back! He's just started the 3 year course to train as a Dispensing Optician, and we couldn't be happier that he's doing it at TW&C 🤩 #dreamteam

The RAC reports that two-thirds of motorists say they are regularly dazzled by oncoming headlights due to new headlight technology.

Our rebrand is almost complete. Following Alice's decision to leave the practice we are now trading under the name Taylor-West & Co Optometrists. Different name, same awesome service and beautiful eyewear.

Just picked up my new glasses and I love them! Great service and advice from start to finish. Such quality in the lenses and the frames and the expertise of the staff is very reassuring. Dealing with Eileen was lovely too. Feel like I will be getting my glasses from these guys for years to come.

Having moved from London it was time to find a good place to have an eye test and these guys were amazing! I have to say it was the best place I've been to. Amazing staff Sophie did my eye test with the latest technology and explaining everything in detail and was very thorough and George took care of helping me to choose some new frames, he was so helpful and patient. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys in Hove truly impressive! Shared to friends in Brighton I love to give a shout out to people who excel �

Having been a Commercial Pilot since 2005. I was sadly diagnosed with keratoconus back in 2008 by the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Which is where I first met Sophie. I was under her care there until she set up her new practice Taylor west and Sloan, in Hove. I Stayed under the hospital for eye care but sadly lost my aviation medical due to quick progression of the KC in 2014. I visited moorfields who advised they could do no more on improving my vision. I thought my flying days were over and slowly came to terms with the fact that I would never fly again and would need to find a new career path. I decided to go and visit Sophie in her in new practice "Taylor West & Co" in Hove to see if she could help. We tried many lens, from many different manufactures, from all over the world and after a couple of months Sophie finally found the solution. AMAZING!!! I passed the Class 1 aviation medical required to get back flying in 2015 and finally i was back flying the Airbus A320 out of Gatwick for Thomas Cook Airlines. Without Sophie, my life would have severely changed.Not only professionally but in my every day life. As my vision was becoming very poor. In 2016, I signed up to Sophie's eye plan costing just £20 per month which means I can see here as much as l like for appointments and support at short notice. Something that would normally cost a small fortune. I continue to see Sophie on a regular basis to keep a check on my eye condition and lens fit. And once a year to have my eye assessment for my annual medical for the Civil Aviation Authority. I would highly recommend Taylor West and Co to anyone who needs eye care and specialist lens fitting. Well done to Sophie and the team!
