Mega busy as ever and a good assortment of cars in today.
DC5 with Meister R coilovers in for a full ego setup and check over.
EP3 in to swap out some Skunk2 cams and revert back to stock ones along with swapping injectors and a full remap using our dealer Hondata Flashpro.
... Stunning Nismo 370Z in for a major service along with a pair of Cobra HFCs and Stillen cutback finished off tomorrow with a full Ecutek remap.
Also we have in a rather special FD2 we have built a genuine Mugen 2.2 race engine a few years back and sporting a Js Racing full body kit in for some transmission upgrades and with the view to developing a fly by wire ITB setup we can also use on the FN2s all controlled through stock ECU running Ecutek engine management. Going to be quite complex but am sure we can crack it with the team we have involved. 😎

Busy day again today. Had a Geo setup on an FN2 along with an uprated fuel pump and remap on Ecutek on the red FN2 and also spent the day working on this very well prepped EP3 by Area Motorsport with only 50k on it.
After experiencing running issues on track we were able to diagnose the issues and also replaced the old RC650 injectors with the latest spec 1050IDs.
... Full remap from scratch resulted in a peak of 315bhp and 200ftlb and a very smooth power delivery. 😎

It's all about Ecutek and for some reason Red FN2s this week.
So good even a Touring Car driver made the journey from the south coast to get his car remapped by us!
So far this week we have had Howard Fuller in with his late model FN2 for a full Ecutek remap with all the normal options as well as our own traction control system as well as flat foot shifting, blips, crackle on over run and adjustable launch control.
... We have Ben's Turbocharged car with a fresh motor after adding Darton sleeves and Supertech valvetrain finished build and on the dyno for running in with a safe map.
We have had a Rotrex supercharged car in this morning for a few mods and added traction control so even on the wet greasy roads it was like pulling away on a dry surface so will help no end on a big power car.
This afternoon we have had a car with just an Injen intake for a full remap as well and graph is attached with the before and after. Great gains exactly where you need them low down and in the midrange with big improvement in throttle response.
2 more FN2s in tomorrow for Ecutek as well. What's the chances of them being Red as well! 😂

Older 350Zs something to look out for.
We have had a car in for a remap a few weeks back and we didn't want to do it as we found that the VTC wasn't working so remapping wouldn't have been the right thing to do at the time.
Cut to the chase and what we found was the timing chains had stretched so much the cams moved enough out of sync for the ecu to not allow the variable cam control so even though car was making same peak values there was a massive chunk of midrange missing.... There was no error codes.
New chain kit, guides and tensioner later and it's all running fine and allowed us to carry out the remap.
It's not cheap or easy to do and with certain models it's worth doing the gaskets as well but certainly something to keep in mind as the miles rack up. 👍

Very busy day today with cars battling the weather from all over the country to get work done on their cars.
FK2 in for a T valve mod and a remap ..... without having to open the ECU.
EP3 in for a Spoon exhaust and full remap ahead of a trip to Spa
... EP3 in for an oil change, TPS sensor and K100 and remap
350Z in for an Uprev remap.
Also had another engine dropped off for forging and diagnostics work on a poorly EP3

Mega K20 10,000+rpm build completed and away to be tidied then to the track.
Motor is a 4Piston 86x86 with Kinsler ITBs and dry sump kit making power at 10,000rpm. It's running EWP and all sorts of trick monitoring controlled by a Link Fury ECU which has internal wideband lambda, active knock control, oil pressure and temp safeties as well as normal temp safeties.
Box is a short ratio PPG with flat shifting setup through the ECU.
... Exhaust system is a custom Mike Edwards manifold and exhaust as well.
It's been very complex getting this to all fit in such a confined space with lots of technical issues as we have gone but made it in the end.
Power. Well. It's made just over 300bhp and 187ftlb and for a stock bore and stroke is pretty impressive. This was on 102 race fuel as well.

Let down by a company very last minuet on a car I run, the customer had booked it in with the OTHER company and was in a panic on Wednesday night, I was testing at Silverstone and got on the phone to Neil and asked if they could fit the car in for mapping in the morning. The answer was yes!!!! Paul can’t thank you and the team enough, total legends and we repaid with 2 class wins carrying the TDI North name proudly. What a team!!! ���

Just returned today from tdi north, and the guys and the service was excellent...my fn2 drives like a new car, the ecutek remap is awesome....now I have been to them I won't go no where else.......

Had my pride and joy Mugen m200 in yesterday for the ecutek package installed and mapped.

I now understand why people drive the distances they do to have there cars worked on by the team there.

The friendly service and work carried out is second to none and as for the new fn2 ecutek software all I can say is wow just transforms the car completely.

Any one thinking of doing it don't hesitate it will make you smile with the difference in how the car performs.

Had my ep3 down at the workshop yesterday for a rbc, k100, pop and crackle switch all supplied, fitted and fully dyno and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Absolute brilliant team of blokes down there! Couldn’t be happier with the work they’ve carried out. Completely transformed my car� thanks lads!!

Had my EP3 re-mapped a couple of weeks ago and what a difference! The car is far more responsive and drives spot on now. Big thanks to Paul and the team at TDI North. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great service and squeezed me in at short notice, the lads have totally transformed my ctr and it’s now so much fun to drive.

Friendly experts! I recently got various parts for my FK8 purchased and fitted with TDi. Paul had a lot of time for me on email prior to the fitting, and they all had plenty of wisdom for me when I got there. Cheers guys.

First used TDi North on a DC5 back in 2005, 11yrs later and I still wouldn't go anywhere else! Over the years they've fitted all sorts of parts, upgrades, remaps on DC5's, EP3 and more recently my S2000. I've been there each year for the last 3 years having new upgrades finished off and mapped in! Without question these guys work magic. I'm absolutely over the moon with the work they've done, and the best part --- the drive home is completely different to the drive there!! Thank you once again guys, great job!!!

Brilliant service, friendly staff and excellent knowledge of Hondas, the place I've been looking for! Deffo going again for servicing etc
