When students do a writing task, very often they don’t spend enough time at the important editing stage. In this lesson students complete a couple of short writing activities with the focus on editing and accuracy. ✴️ Download the lesson plan and student worksheet here: http://bit.ly/LessonPlan-WritingMiniThing s Ann :) #Writing

Extensive reading helps students build their vocabulary and improve both their written and spoken skills. It helps us teachers keep our own use of English fresh. So why don’t we do more of it? 📖 Alan Maley investigates in this article here: http://bit.ly/ExtensiveReading Ann :) #Reading

🏫A school in the UK has decided to abolish marking! Instead teachers have one-to-one time with students every two weeks. It seems to be having an all round positive result. 🤗 What do you think? A good idea? Or a bad one? Tina ( via LearnEnglish Parents - British Council)

I want to warn against Aghiles Salim Brahimi from Algiers. He is hurting and scaring British women. He has been banned on Instagram for harassing British women, trying to get a visa. He uses dating apps to hunt for British women and tells them his name is Aslan Yavrusu. He is on this page using that fake name and hunting for women to scam. He says to them he has lived in London for 2 years but he has never visited the UK. He lies and says he is the store manager at ZARA in Bab Ezzouar, but he was only the assistant manager. His job ended at ZARA in September 2017. He lied to make my British friend love him, simply to manipulate her into helping him come to the UK, but she found out. He then used Islam to lie by saying he cannot be with her because she is atheist. But he knew she was atheist from the start and he continues to harass UK women who are atheist too. Using Islam to lie and hurt women is evil! He is reported to London police for harassing women and attempting to come to the UK for criminal reasons. Please stay safe if you know him. He could commit other crimes. He is a very immoral man and not a true muslim!

What do we can do to get the attention of the students, to be ensure that the learning of the English language will be successful ?

Researchin says: learners´s attention capacity, can be held for periods of short times, and this capacity is proportional to the learners´s age. ( From 5 to 20 minutes).

I´d like to know different class and course planning models.

With what level of progress is defined that this course to approve it ?
