Was a good night out first I've been good track aswell, only thing that let it down was short staff few more stuff members would make it better and turn around time would be a lot quicker for parties to get on track. Two stuff members refueling 20 karts does take a long time. But apart from that was good.

User

Thoroughly impressed with the facilities, everything is gleamingly new. The wooden parts of the race track do give you a chance to drift round a corner if you want, but grip is there at all times. The staff were great, and not afraid to black flag anyone who breaks the normal racing rules continually.

Will definitely return, and my sons and work colleagues are all planning to come along sometime soon

User

Thank you so much for making Oliver’s birthday party so much fun! All the boys had such a great time and they didn’t stop talking about the go karting all the way home. Special thanks to Taz for all her help. We would love to come back for another party soon as it was so brilliant. Would definitely recommend having a kids party here xxx

User

Second visit... Absolutely loved every bit of it.... Abit of a delayed start and some kart cuts out easily and not enough staff to start the race.. But none spolit it as soon going onto the track.... You wont be disappointed..

User

Marshall up for a laugh even though enforcing all rules. Gonna be back very soon

User

I am a new member as a result of two amazing unlimited karting sessions at the Harlow site which are held on Sunday evenings. The track and karts a brilliant, the staff are super friendly and the newly opened venue is a great facility. Most drivers are super friendly too, especially all the members.

Harlow - 500m - Part 5 of 7 of TeamSport Trip!

- 29/10/2017

Third Day of our trip and really looking forward to trying another new track. Heard some really interesting things about this track. Using Google maps took us straight there and easy to find.

Walked into reception got all booked in by Royan, asked if we been before, told us where find changing rooms and how to get on the track.

Our host were Melissa and Tia. Jess was serving at the bar. Marshalling was Will, Jamie and Matthew. Friendly and helpful.

Now the track, the pits is on the top floor and you can see the whole top floor is made out of wood which is going to be grippy. The bottom level is all concrete which is normally quite slippery for a new track but don't judge a book by its cover. This is just as grippy as the tarmac track. Couldn't believe how grippy it was, so much fun and most of track downstairs I thought, It would slow you down but it was full speed. We ended up doing another two more sessions that day. Could I of kept going all day long.

Our quickest lap time! (1st visit)

Ami - 72kg - 33.904

James - 112kg 34.269

If you haven't tried this track and you get a day off I would highly recommend trying this track. You'll certainly find the rush you need!

Hopefully see you very soon Harlow for a members event.

User

Great facility and on unlimited karting night the team really turned everything around quickly. A few more staff would probably help as the 5 on this evening were running around trying to sort everything. The guys and girls did brilliantly regardless and while a few extra people around wouldn't improve the excellent experience for customers, it would probably make for a slightly less hectic night for those working. Will be back as soon as I have another free sunday!

User

Great centre, staff are friendly and do all they can to ensure you have a good time! Seems organised most of the time, however our slots have been pushed back on the odd occasion when it's very busy. I am a frequent visitor and will continue to be a returning customer

Nice bar area to have a beer in afterwards, and a reasonable viewing area for spectators (no payment to just go watch!)

The Karts are well maintained, and the track is fast and tactical, with enough tricky corners to keep you coming back and wanting to master them! Being indoors also means the track is useable all year round, as not affected by the weather conditions, means you can race even if there is 8inches of snow outside!

I have completed a few timed sessions, and a tournament knockout session over the past month, all been great fun.

I highly recommend this track keep up the good work

User

Family and friends went to the Harlow branch today. Fantastic time had by all. would highly recommend

User

Some serious disorganization there yesterday. 3 members of staff running around like headless chickens and it took 3 hours to get just 30 mins on track. The place needs to restructure the whole procedure from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you walk out, if it doesn't you wont have many repeat customers. The course however was good to race and surprisingly fast although i received a black flag and once i got into to pits i was told i was taking the corners to fast and need to slow it down...... seriously

Hopefully all the issues get ironed out as it is a new facility and the staff are all new. We will return soon

User

Last night was our second visit to your Harlow circuit. First time was fantastic, last night on the other hand was awful with the kids scared to go out in the sessions and no regards for safety...... my family is heavily involved in motor sports so we are not oblivious to the dangers involved, but when my 9yr old daughter got hit so hard on the down ramp and forced at speed into a tyre wall and then upon complaining of neck and back pain (all caught on go pro) the marshal asked her to climb out of the Kart and remove her helmet is completely negligent! Under no circumstances should a driver be moved or any equipment be removed when complaining of neck/back pain as this could cause more damage! Her neck should have been stabilised and assessed before she was moved...luckily it just appears to be whiplash and nothing more serious, the amount of contact on track was atrocious especially when it was a mixed session of adults and children with no black flags shown at all or no drivers pulled up on the manner of their driving, Very disappointed with our visit

User

I went with family and friends on my birthday the 11th. Was a nice place seemed friendly but I was involved in what I thought was a bad accident on the fastest bit on the track was hit from behind at full speed I basically come out the go kart seat I was dazed and had to get out and stand of track as I had a slight noise bleed. Workers asked if I was ok but was in a massive hurry to under go racing again which is fine. I don't see the point of the safety lights and flags I don't think they no what their really doing. matter of time till someone gets hurt their. Track is small for the amount of karts they let out and in the fast bends can be very bumpy. Also when you arrive you have to pay a extra 50p for a disposable balaclava they say it's for hygiene. Maybe they should include that in the price.

User

I took my boy and 3 friends for his 10th Birthday yesterday lunchtime (07/10/17). Although the boys enjoyed themselves, there were a few issues..the facilities are all nice and new and carts all new an looked good.

We were booked on a family session and there were approximately 15 drivers including children and parents..having watched the safety video, where it was reiterated over again that bad driving wouldn't be tolerated and black flags, warnings issued..

However within seconds of starting my son was whacked from behind by an adult driving a bit recklessly..not in a manner appropriate for a family session..all the boys complained to me that some of the adults were driving a bit competitively...the Marshalls didn't intervene at any point..

Secondly one of the boys karts ran out of petrol at the start of the session and he was left sitting in the pit Lane for 4-5 mins while they tried to start it and eventually got a replacement kart...losing 4-5 mins of a 15 mins session is a third of the session lost...

Lastly had to wait 5 mins at the bar to get a drink/snacks...as no staff behind the bar..

For £35 per person for the session it's slightly spoilt our enjoyment..

User

Great venue and great track just a shame stewards were not on the ball a bit more my younger son was hit a few times on the track to the point he didn't want to go on in the second session. I know the stewards can't police all situations but these where obvious violations of the rules as explained in the briefing. Would go back but would try to get a quieter session feel the numbers on track should be smaller.

User

Went with my husband I am disabled but wanted to view, no lift the stairs are not too many, but if I had been in a wheelchair not a chance. And just because I am disabled who knows I may want to drive, they do have disabled parking spaces but when we arrived some person had parked across all three spaces, it looked like he was a friend of the staff, I also was a bit worried about the way they fill up with petro, the staff seemed to lack support and had no idea you had to replace the milk in the coffee and tea machine so everything was black or nothing. Other than that he enjoyed the track but not as good as others.

User

Wasn't impressed with the 930pm session today other users rude not following the rules and overtaking on yellow flags at one point another driver used a rude gesture to my 13 year old...really...was it necessary.. Think you need to enforce rules or not allow youngsters on track with so called adults even the poor female steward got ignored when she questioned the particular person involved....will not be back and would not recommend to my sons peers as safety is not enforced shame as my son had a go karting party at Brentwood earlier that day for his 13th birthday and this was a last minute treat so he could be joined with his siblings and dad.......

User

2nd return visit. Not as good as my first time. For some reason I received a yellow flag for not testing my breaks before going out. To be honest I couldn't remember or heard the steward. Precious time wasted here...

There was overtaking also on yellow flags not getting punished. Also there seemed to be too many racers on our second 15 mins, more than our first 15 mins which made the second session slow going.

On my first visit Jess was proactive in her approach to selling return tickets but this time there was no offer of this and minimal staff in the refreshments area.

Also someone crashed into the side of my kart before the ramp and I have bruising on my left side by my ribs. Should be encouraged for staff to see how our day and if we felt ok.

Good experience checking checking in, quick and easy.

User

Wow that is the biggest waste of money I have ever spent!!!!! If you want to sit in a go kart in a pit lane all night then come here. If someone bumps you then you get sent to the pits. Terrible place and a manager with a attitude problem.
