very exciting, first race was a bit tiresome to get used to the steering wheel but the second one was super

very nice service and safety measurements are great

good food served as well

may be more fun if prices can go down a bit :-)

User

What a great experience. The staff are a credit to the company. You don’t often get the standard of service we received on Saturday evening from start to finish. I had a pizza from the cafe and I really enjoyed it good value for a great product. The young lady behind the counter excelled at her job friendly and helpful which is getting harder to find now days

My son and his mates were racing and now count the track as one of their top indoor tracks up there with the very best they have driven.

The only thing is it’s to far away from us to frequent as often as we would like too. But if we are ever back in London again we will defiantly give them a look.

We went as a group of 5 for a birthday present and were joined by another guy. At first I was really nervous but the instructor George was very friendly and made me feel more comfortable immediately. The moment the cars were going I had the time of my life, can't wait to come back - many thanks to George and Cameron who was also on the course, both wonderful, thank you so much from our group!

User

We had a great time. 4 of us enjoying the unlimited Sunday night package. We had 5 races of 10 minutes each with just enough time to recover in between. The place looks like an airport lounge inside even though it is in an old industrial estate.

Only drawback for me was that my spine was bruised as it is a bumpy track.

The warning lights on the track should be more prominent as l was ticked off by the Marshall for racing on a yellow light. But as you are trying to beat your friends you are not conscious of the lights.

But we had a great night with lots of smiles all round. Be warned though you will get battered and bruised but it is fun!!!!

User

Took a group of young people here this week. 11 of us in total. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Good and drinks was ordered at the start for a specific time. They all arrived freshly cooked at said time and we were all able to eat together around a table. My group loved the whole experience. οΏ½

User

OMG. Best day ever. Went Easter Sunday to the unlimited goes and man was it worth it. Staff were great, the track was bigger and the cars were faster. The only drawback was, after a wicked evening my arms are killing me. Pain like I've never had driving the cars. Will be def going back here again. A must if you was to drive fast go karts.

User

My husband and I went here today and we had a great time! Just the two of us on the track so a couple of guys jumped on that worked there which added to the fun for my partner as I was slowly trying to catch up with him οΏ½ staff were incredibly polite and friendly. We loved it, bought vouchers to go back too οΏ½

User

Docklands - 800m Part 2 of 7 of TeamSport Trip!

- 27/10/2017

This is our second visit to docklands.

We were travelling on Friday from West London to Docklands. 17 miles in two hours. We did make sure to allow a lot of time to get here. Luckily we made it on time. Again we used Google maps to take us right there. Easy to find.

Toby booked us in and said if we needed anything just ask him. Ed and Patrick were in pits and marshalling. We meet Simon the mechanic. All the staff we talked to were friendly.

The new LPG karts look very nice. Unfortunately for Ami they didn't have adjustable seats in the new models. Bit of shame as all other Teamsport kart have this feature. She didn't feel very comfortable. If we go again we would make sure to take another bit of padding, as she couldn't reach the pedals and felt less in control of the kart. Apart from this one hick up the karts were on the mark. The sound that come out of them is great. Only get that, out of LPG kart.

The track itself is super grippy, as the whole track is tarmac. A lot of the time you're going flat out. Especially around the banked corner! Very few places you have to slow down and break. Would highly recommend this track if you looking for that rush and sound. The only thing that will slow you down is how long your arms and hands can last holding on to the steering wheel and fighting that tarmac track.

Our quickest lap time! (1st visit in the new karts)

Ami - 72kg - 40.722

James - 112kg 42.262

It was super busy evening, we didn't get chance to thank the staff at end. Thanks you very much.

User

We love the staff and the track me and my son loves going and have recently asked a few others to join us which was also fun... but at the end of the race and as we was leaving we normally buy some quick race voucher for our next time,we have now been informed that we can't do this anymore and it was only done as a favour before hand but it has had to stop and now we would have to keep paying the full price οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½ not a happy person with this ad we always brought tickets after race.

User

Great place to go, went for a Christmas works party. Only issue I had as I have short legs were the cars are made for big people and even with the booster seats it was difficult to drive how I wanted to. (I didn't want to be beaten!) Would be useful if the car seats were adjustable. Otherwise brilliant!

User

A bit disorganized but the experience overall was well worth it!

User

Went here nearly 2 years ago and had a great time. Went here a couple of weeks ago and I have to say I was disappointed at the state of the karts. They were harder to drive and my bumber fell off and the wheel of a another karter came off. Overall it was ok. Wasn't as good as the first time

User

I booked for 6 of us to go to go karting on Sunday 26 February for my husband's birthday. We enjoyed ourselves but I'd like to point out a couple of things that let the day down. The second point especially.

1. There was no one on the desk to greet us for a good 10 minutes when we arrived, and no obvious way of calling someone. When the man arrived, he didn't apologise for this. Doesn't create a good first impression when you've travelled from Surrey for a special occasion.

2. The black man on the track (sorry don't know his name) needs to work on his customer service skills. Following a junior go kart smashing into my 15 year old nephew and spinning his kart around, he was told that if it was an adult kart that had smashed into him like that, his ankles would have been broken. Need to mention that my nephew was not at fault in this.

This unecessary statement totally killed my nephew's excitement and competitiveness for the second 15 minute race with all the others in our group as a result, which disappointed my husband. When the race finished my nephew looked visibly shaken by this comment. Not the type of thing you say to a child. I was not happy about this at all.

I thought the track and facilities were great, but customer service really needs to be addressed.

User

Got to say I was very disappointed..... not with the staff or track, but with the idiot customers who apparently saw the safety briefing but thought it didn't apply to them! Drivers black flagged just ignored the staff. Yellow lights apparently mean they can continue at racing speeds and red light just mean carry on and catch up with the others.

End result - lots of time spent stationary explaining what they are doing wrong. This is not what we go Karting for...... if people cannot abide by the rules they should be chucked out before someone gets hurt, remember the purpose of the lights? Safety!!

User

A great experience racing as always but unfortunately this time there were some negatives.

We went on the 9th Feb for a 7pm race which was an early birthday celebration.

It was a busy session with 13 drivers which really added to the fun.

The negatives we encountered were as follows.

The track environment was freezing, even the track staff were complaining about it.

In the race itself there were quiet a few black flag incidents that didn't get picked up including my friend being slammed into when a collision happened in front of him and he had to suddenly stop.

This driver should have been removed from track altogether for dangerous driving.

There was also a lot of unnecessary contact which wasn't spotted including me being bumped continuously for best part of 2 laps.

Also as we have experience on each visit after racing when we go to the bar for a drink it's very difficult to find someone to serve us.

The girl that eventually came said if we were paying by card she would have to go and get the card machine!

Sort it out guys!

After all this we did buy 3 quick return vouchers as we love this local track but I really expect to see some marked improvement when we do come back especially when it comes to comfort and more importantly safety.

TeamSport Karting (London Docklands) This is the worst experience of karting i have ever had. The briefing itself is 45 minutes. The marshall try to give hand gestures but wear black sleeves and black gloves so you cant see them so you cant see them whilst on the track. They play the music so loud you cant hear the announcements. The Chequered flag is not at the finish line so you don't know if you have finished the race. The worst part is the yellow flag. The yellow flag was on for the entirety of the course and for 95% of the session, so we weren't able to get many laps in. The wait between karting was 40 minutes which wouldn't of been so bad if we were able to actually race which we wasn't. as for the unlimited idea of the experience its not really as described and you cant just join another group if theres a spare kart because then apparently everyone would want more goes, the staff did try their best but it really wasnt what i or my friends expected. if you want real go karting dont go here sorry

Overall a terrible experience i would not advise coming here. Capital Karts is where you should go.
