For pleasure in a bottle and the pure taste of Cotswolds 'terroir', try the Woodchester Valley wines - they're really very good. English winemaking has come on leaps and bounds and I'd really recommend these guys! They have four award winning wines, a pure Bacchus, a single vineyard Bacchus, a lovely blend called Culver Hill and a pinot noir rose. Simon from Woodchester Valley will be doing a tasting in store next Friday if you want to try before you buy - I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Here's our fabulous home cooked beef, rocket and horseradish sandwich. Our bread has no additives or preservatives and on Thursday and Saturday we have deliveries of Peter Cook's organic bread made with Shipton Mill flour. Every day we have a delivery of La Parisienne bread made with FWP Matthews flour. Whichever you choose - they are delicious breads with no nasties.

Spring has finally sprung! Dust off those BBQs - we're warmer than Ibiza (allegedly!). Our butchers have prepared, especially for you, a delicious range of marinaded meats for the BBQ - and don't forget our mouth-watering range of dry-aged steaks from Hereford and South Devon breeds. Why not try a Chase Fruit Cup with lemonade and all the trimmings - a great Spring/Summer drink? Or the deliciously refreshing drinks from Nurses Cottage (Pershore)? Long may this gorgeous weather last! If you're off to the races this afternoon - pop in for a spot of early lunch and don't forget, we're open until 6.30pm during the week (6pm on Sat and 4pm on Sun).

Visited this shop and bought some T Bone and Fillet steak to take home to Norfolk,we had them today they were fantastic,best steak we have had for a long while,we will return on our next visit to the Cotswolds

Discovered this place last week. Fab choice of wine. Loads of local produce and a coffee shop too ...yum!!!:)))

Great store, great staff, great selection of produce.

However, I find the intrusive, loud music is not condusive to a pleasant shopping experience.

Stopped off here when I was travelling through for work. Area was unknown to me and I needed to stop off to use a toilet. I saw a sign for services and it pointed me in the direction of here.

I went in and asked if there was a toilet anywhere near that I could use. (Wasn't meaning the store necessarily) the lady I spoke to was very rude. He exact words were 'our toilet is for customers, you haven't bought anything you can't use it.' I was going to use a toilet and then could of bought my lunch from there as it was lunch time and the shop looked well presented and food that I could of taken away. Unfortunately after that attitude I left without purchasing anything. I did enquire about the sign that said services and pointed to the car park but was told again that I couldn't use their toilet and there were no services.

Not great customer service. Certainly wouldn't stop there if I found myself going that way for work purposes again. Maybe a little customer relations needs to be looked at here.
