Ted'S Caravan And Camp Site

We stayed here after we booked camping at the V Festival. We was taking older children with us and wanted to prevent them from seeing things that as children they should be sheltered from, so we decided to look around and we booked Ted's camp site. We towed a caravan there. What was in store was a perfect site for families. We had chickens at our door everyday, wonderful farm animals and views all around us. The facilities were brilliant. The children bottle fed lambs in the morning, and a service was even offered, for collection and drop off to the V Festival. We had an amazing time and a lovely quiet welcoming retreat to return back to after the hustle and bustle of the V Festival. We plan to return next year with our other children just for a short stay. Thank you for having us!

We came this campsite because our caravan got some problem. However, it turns out a very surprising good journey here. Ted and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Kids had good time playing with rooster and watching ducks. There is plenty of room for kids to play. The shower and the toilet is clean. Very lovely place.

Awesome site, basic and cheap. Kids loved it and got to feed the lambs every morning and the tame chickens loved roosting under the car at night. The area was a real surprise with some beautiful.places to visit. Started as a stop off on our way home from north Wales but ended up being one of the better parts of the holiday

OMG! Amazing. We have just spent the August bank holiday on this site and fell in love. We instantly felt at ease by Jim, the loud scots man and ted and had a weekend of wall to wall sunshine. The single male and female shower was not an issue with almost no queues. We will be back again and again. Thank you

Great set up of a campsite, owner Ted is a character. Plenty of space for the kids to play, farm animals like lambs and chickens roam around the site and dogs very welcome! Book direct to save a few quid.

Ted's is welcoming, friendly, chilled (sadly there is always a group that wants to be loud, drunk and naked while screaming at their kids)
Great value for money, clean toilets, showers and hot water. Kids are encouraged to help with feeding the lambs, chickens and cows. All people friendly.
Ted is a happy chappy. Definitely recommend and we will be back. Bloody lovely.

Fantastic quiet spot. Well looked after site with toilet and shower block with dish washing facilities. Great value for money with fantastic views. Highly recommend for a laid back night or two.

Really nice and simple field campsite backed by woodland and good views. Free eggs from the hens.
