About Teesside University Students' Union
Multi award winning SU providing support, events, clubs, societies and social space! Led by students for students and right at the heart of student life!
Teesside University Students' Union Description
The multi-award-winning and internationally recognised Teesside University Students' Union (TUSU) is right at the heart of student life and the wider community. We are led by students for students with three Student Officers elected each year to represent student opinion to the most senior figures at Teesside University including the Board of Governors and Vice-Chancellor while overseeing how the SU is run and leading on a range of campaigns and events. Their work supported by teams of School, Course and Campaign Reps along with career and student staff.
We provide a range of independent support, advice and representation services to all students at Teesside University. We also give thousands of students with the chance to widen their experience, have fun and become more employable through sports clubs, societies, volunteering opportunities and help with their skills! We are home to multi-award-winning venues The Terrace and The Hub open 7 days a week for food and drink as well as student events and private parties. And many students utilise our social and study spaces like The Love it Lounge and SU Studio for meetings, group work and individual study.

We hade our wedding in the hub 11/6/16 and it was fantastic Luke x all his staff r amazing couldn't do enough for us the room was absolutely Loverly every one commented on it x the food well wot can I say even that was fantastic so thanks again Luke x all your amazing staff x
We had our charity event there on the 24th Nov with four live bands. An absolutely fantastic venue that we will definitely use again. Thanks Luke, Phil, Rob and all the support staff throughout the night. Probably one of the best venues in the North East, very highly recommended. Cheers all. Francis on behalf of Arch NE.
Was at a Birthday party 30/6/17, venue was very good, very polite and helpful bar staff, plenty of room for guests to dance and also mingle amongst one another

Fantastic place, the atmosphere is really nice and the Hub is a brilliant place for events. Foods very nice, the fish and chips are fantastic, and hats off to the chef. Thank you very much.

I was there for football presentation. Was good but very expensive. !!!!
I went to the millenium: reunion last night with a few friends, it was a good night but it wasn't advertised enough so it was quiete. There drinks were so over priced as well.
Visited student union this early afternoon, had a great time playing pool and a couple of drinks but the staff hired where very rude after I had simply asked a question she seemed to not want to give me the time of day and therefore ruined my visit
