At Telephones Online we want all of our customers to receive the best and most efficient service we can possibly offer, this way we ensure an ongoing level of repeat business and recommendations.
We know that peace of mind is very important when dealing with companies you don't know, especially when ordering online & paying by credit card over the Internet, that is why we don't try to hide our address or contact details, in fact we want you to know everything about us, so please read on.
Telephones Online has been selling discount telecoms since 1998, we specialise in selling brand new, new & reboxed, manufacturers factory refurbished (as new), end of line & mail order box damaged products directly to you, the valued customer, at the lowest prices possible.
New & Reboxed: These are products that are new but due to the original packaging being damaged the product has been repacked in a mail order box.
Refurbished: Refurbished items are customer returns. A large proportion of these items have never been used. They might for example, be unwanted gifts or products where customers have simply changed their mind which have then been returned to us.
They have been checked, inspected, repaired (if necessary), graded and reboxed (if necessary) complete with all accessories. They may have minor cosmetic marks that do not affect or hinder the functionailty in any way. All refurbished items will be clearly marked in the description. In most cases the item will still be in the original retail packaging which may be damaged, marked or scuffed.
These items offer excellent value for money along with the reassurance that they are supported by a full 12 month Telephones Online warranty.
Brand New: As the name suggests these items are brand new, it is possible that the original seal on the box may have been opened to allow us to check that all the standard items & accessories are included within the box.
Any of our products that are not described as "brand new" have been comprehensively tested & in the case of SIM free mobiles have been 'reflashed' by a leading UK Service Centre.
As well as stocking current top brands, we are the most established and by far the largest outlet for new but discontinued products, used by many of the major manufacturers for clearing their inventory. This enables us to sell many goods at below even trade prices.
To ensure a high degree of standing in the e-commerce marketplace it is of the utmost importance that our customers can purchase goods securely and swiftly. We've had our BT 8500 home phone with advanced call minder for a week now - we had a few unsolicited calls over the first couple of days which were blocked - since then we have only received calls which are in our phone book. - brilliant phone for anyone who is fed up with the junk calls every day!

I cannot thank a great friend enough for putting us onto the Call Guardian Service. Once set up its easy enough to use and does block out those nuisance calls. No more PPI, or those amusing phishing Asian ones about our computers. If the callers are serious one they can leave a message.

Telephones online are cheeky chancers. They sent me an obviously fake Otterbox defender case that felt so cheap and flimsy it was laughable. It even came in used Otterbox packaging (complete with sellotaped corners) I contacted customer services straight away and was told they would refund me immediately. Here we are 1 month later and I'm still waiting for a refund. What a terrible way to run a company. I have reported you for selling counterfeit goods :). Thanks for absolutely nothing you scammers.

I am disabled, just had a heart attack and stroke and I have Cancer. I am housebound and I ordered two BT 8600 Twin Digital Cordless phones from this company, both came faulty and scratched, they are substandard rubbish and something is rattling inside the base station on them so sounds like they are broken, one was covered in stick food and scratched and as a person who has just had a stroke I could not get the back off them to put the batteries in and there was no pull out tab to activate these phones as per manual instructions.
I phoned the company explained the situation and told them that I was far from happy, and they would not arrange collection of these faulty unfit for purpose phones, despite my telling them I was disabled and had just had a stroke and heart attack.
It costs £20 in a taxi to the post office from where I live and £20 back I told the company this and all they said was "We will send out a pre-paid label and bag - not good enough given the fact that the goods are faulty, why should I foot the bill to take a taxi to the post office to return faulty goods? Surely the oneness is in the company? Not happy, zero consideration, smarmy man who was unsympathetic, condescending and unpleasant, my advice steer well clear these are advertised as new phoned when they are broken phones and supposed to be refurbished, I saw nothing on their selling pages to state this, not happy and reporting them to Trading Standards. They are unfit to trade and their goods are unfit for purpose. DO NOT BUY from these dreadful people. They show you no respect whatsoever, least of all if you are disabled. I wonder how this company would feel if they were in my position? Shame on them, they are a diabolical company offering a diabolical service and diabolical rubbish goods.
