This is amazing!

Telford & District Cats Protection is appealing to would-be cat owners to give a loving indoor-only home to a cat with the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.
We currently have one FIV-positive cat in our care and we are keen to find him a permanent home. FIV is a virus in cats that is similar to the human virus HIV, however, FIV does not infect humans.
FIV-positive cats and kittens can make fabulous indoor pets and they have plenty to offer to a new owner.
... FIV-positive cats can make fabulous companions as they remain indoors close to their owner and are particularly suited to flats and houses without gardens. FIV-positive cats can lead normal lives and remain healthy for many years.
Keeping FIV positive cats indoors, which also reduces their risk of spreading infection to other cats, lowers their chance of succumbing to other infectious diseases, to which they may be more susceptible.
Marvin is a great example of an FIV-positive cat that would make a fabulous pet for a kind hearted person who is able to provide him with that special home.

Three is the magic number, we’ll Spot certainly hopes that’s the case as he is looking for his forever home.
Spot is three years old and came into our care as a stray. He is a very friendly, relaxed and confident boy who loves to sit on a lap for a cuddle or have a play with toys. He should be fine around children, but we are unsure if he would suit a home with other cats or dogs.

Meet Sophie. Sophie is six months old and is desperate to find a home to call her own.
Sophie loves to play, especially chasing ping pong balls and is very friendly. She enjoys having company and a fuss and has a lovely temperament. She would be fine children over the age of five and possibly a home with another young cat with a similar nature. She will need safe outdoor access and lots of cuddles and attention.

Say hello to Gertie and Sophie. They are about 8 weeks old and are looking for a home together.
They were born in our care to a very young mama cat and because of her age, they had a difficult introduction to the world but with the love and care of one of our fosterers they have grown into confident, playful girls.
... They may be fine with other pets if the pets are calm and used to cats being around, and ideally not in a home with very young children. They will need safe outdoor access and company at times during the day whilst very young.

Eddie is approx. 3 years of age and came into our care as a stray. He was in a bit of a state when we first took him in but with his fosterer's care and dedication he has been transformed into a very handsome chap. He is quite nervous and shy and accepts a fuss on his terms. He is getting frustrated being in foster care and seeking his permanent home. A big ‘thank you’ to all the volunteers and friends/family who came along to the ‘thank you’ event this afternoon at The Telford Hotel and Golf Resort. Lovely to meet up, exchange ideas, chat, and enjoy a gorgeous afternoon tea.

Due to unforeseen change in circumstances please can you offer Minnie, 11 years old a forever home. she has been neutered, not microchipped. She is a clean healthy cat, she likes her sleep and loves drinking water from the tap. She doesnt get on well with dogs but ok with another cat. Ok with children also. She likes her fuss but doesnt like being held and hasnt since she was a kitten. She hasnt had any recent vaccinations as she ...doesnt go to any catterys and doesnt go outside. Wow! My cat would love this 😍

Volunteers are the whole heart, soul and actions of the Telford and District Cats Protection Branch.
The Annual ‘Thank You’ event in May, for all branch volunteers and their support is being held at The Telford Hotel and Golf Resort, Sutton Heights, TF7 4DT.
The hotel have very generously supported our charity by donating a conference suite for the event, created an amazing (reduced price) afternoon tea menu, and donated two amazing Raffle prizes:

Do you have it in your heart to give Marvin the loving home he richly deserves.
Marvin is five years old and came into our care as a stray who was living by a skip. He will need a special indoor home as he is FIV+ which may well not have any impact on lifespan or quality of life but we suggest you research this condition independently so that you understand it.
He is a friendly boy, who loves chin tickles and head butts, and is possessive about his food! He would love a home... to call his own, we don't think he has ever had one. He would suit a mature family or couple who have time to give him the attention he deserves.
He enjoys watching the outdoors and other cats so he would love an outdoor enclosure/catio but this is not a required element of a great home for him.
