Tenant Protect

About Tenant Protect

Protecting the rights of tenants. Legally, if a deposit is paid on a rental property it must be protected. If it wasn't we can help.

Tenant Protect Description

If you paid a deposit when you moved into your rented property the Government has said that the landlord or their managing agent MUST deal with your money in a very specific way.

If they haven’t followed the rules you are entitled to your full deposit back plus between 1-3x that amount in compensation per violation.

We will check to see if your deposit was protected for free, and it normally only takes around 24 hours.

We work on a no win – no fee basis, so why not try your luck? If we can’t get anything for you it won’t cost you a penny.

So what are you waiting for. Send me a message to get started and see if you have a claim.

Did you pay your son's/daughter's rental deposit?
Do you know if the landlord or landlord’s agent dealt correctly with the deposit you paid?

... Landlords who fail to comply with their obligations have to pay to you a statutory penalty of between one and three times the amount of the deposit.
This is payable even if you got the deposit back in full when the tenancy came to an end. The only way landlords will be forced to comply with their mandatory obligations will be if parents like you bring landlords to book. Visit our website at http://tenantprotect.co.uk/go/son-daughte rs-deposit/ or, even better, call us on 0161 905 8432 for more information.

Follow up to the article we shared yesterday. Very even handed in explaining how public money going to private landlords will not assist in addressing the housing crisis in the country.

Interesting article showing the extraordinary increase in the amount of money transferring from the public purse to private landlords.
