We’ve just come back from a fantastic meal with our son who turned 6 today. The service, food and atmosphere was fantastic. There is another establishment like it in Manchester however this pips it purely for the family like atmosphere and food.



I couldn’t fault it it at all. Richard our son loved the fire tricks and his surprise birthday ice cream.

Visited Teppanyaki yesterday to celebrate husband's birthday, we were warmly greeted and seated to peruse the menu whilst being served our choice of drinks. After giving our orders we were then escorted to our table whereby the chef then cooked the scrambled eggs and the mixed with the rice on the hot plate in front of us and then proceeded with cooking the different selections of fish and meat depending on what was ordered and serving onto our individual plates. I have to say the experience was a pleasure and the food was excellent, I would most certainly visit with my family again. I would also recommend that you book ahead as it is popular even for lunchtime which was time of day we visited.

The food was delicious and loved watching it being made! Great staff and great atmosphere! Would highly recommend it. Great price as well.

Visited for the 4th time last night. They were busy and although we hadn't booked a table, they were able to fit us in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and the talented chefs are very entertaining. Love it here and would highly recommend to others.

Our first visit to Teppanyaki Chinatown, Manchester. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were welcomed by friendly staff, who remained attentive throughout the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, from the starters (fishcakes - delicious) to watching your food being cooked at your table, which was absolutely delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine... overall an amazing experience, thank you!

Me and my partner went on Sat afternoon. This place is great. The cook Ray was fantastic looked after us all. Great food good wine and friendly people. Will defiantly be going back again.

This was our first time in a Japanese restaurant and it was amazing. The staff made us feel so welcome and the atmosphere was amazing! We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue. Our chef was very attentive and his food was fantastic. We loved the fire tricks.

I have been twice in the last couple of weeks and have loved each visit. The staff are extremely welcoming and the food is amazing. So much fun to see your meal made in front of you and also to know the exact ingredients. I would rate this gem far above the other glitzy restaurants - as it said on the door "no gimmicks, just great food!"

Fantastic food, wonderful friendly chef with an infectious smile! The well spoken waiter with the shaved head was so polite and courteous, couldn't do enough for us and was especially accomodating of my 2 baby girls (even when my toddler spilled her drink & made a huge mess!) Exceptional customer service & delicious food...best fried rice I've ever tasted! Thank you for a lovely birthday meal

Ate here a couple of weeks ago, lovely food and service. Really enjoyed it very much and the chef was wonderful. He really know how to make a proper teppan not just showmanship. Better than Sapporo Teppanyaki which the chef over cook my food. Great value for money with quality food and made me feel welcome. Definitely will recommend this place to my friends.

We all went there today ,we liked the place , environment,food ..we taken buffet this time ,it was good but the quantity of food was not good enough for lunch ,even the starter was given very small ..my question is if you r taking 10£ which is not a small amount then can't we expect full meal ..that's all..

The egg fried rice is delicious. Me and my boyfriend had the meat combo, the duck was very good and the staff are very friendly. Definitely would go back to try the sea food combo.

Food and service was good, a bit disappointed because we went to a similar place in Cyprus and the chefs were more entertaining doing tricks and having a laugh. Our chef barely broke a smile

Expensive for what it was. The food was fine but there wasn't a particularly large amount. No drama or theatre at all, just felt like sitting in the kitchen watching someone cook. Not blown away tbh. Ok but not good enough to recommend or return again.
