About Terroirs Wine Bar

Terroirs wine bar is located in the heart of London’s West End, a stones throw from Trafalgar Square and adjacent to Charing Cross Station.

Terroirs Wine Bar Description

A vibrant wine bar in central London, serving drinks with energy and food with respect.

We are proud to source many of our wines from small scale, artisan winemakers.

These independent growers often choose traditional methods instead of commercial, producing organic and biodynamic wines that are refreshingly interesting.

Vignes du Paradis Héritage de mes Ancêtres Pinot Noir 2015. Dominique Lucas comes from a long line of Burgundian winemakers, yet eschews the regulations of Burgundian AOCs and thus decided to make most of his wines in the #Savoie, where he’s able to practice what he likes to do without all the red tape. Of his 27 different micro-parcels of vines, only a very small amount are #Pinot Noir but this one is not to be missed! #naturalwine

User

We had an excellent bottle of red here the other night before the theatre. We also ordered a few dishes from their small but delightful menu. The welcome was one of the most polite we had received during our stay in London and the bar staff were equally as courteous. An excellent pit stop for a glass or two whilst walking around central London. :)

User

Very friendly atmosphere, great knowledge of wines from the staff and lovely food.

User

Tend to be more of a beer drinker these days, one reason because of the variety of flavours but I do love a glass of good wine too. Was so pleasantly surprised by this place sat at the bar and asked to taste something before buying and ended up trying a variety of wines that I didn’t even know were possible! So refreshing to go somewhere that might make you try something different from the norm but also understand your tastes and in a very unpretentious way. Great place

User

Stumbled across this gem of a wine bar and restaurant trying to find somewhere for a quick pre-theatre meal. Even though it was absolutely packed, the staff were so accommodating they squeezed a little standing table near the bar for us until luckily a table became free 10 mins later. We had a lovely plate of charcuterie and cheese with fresh bread, some oysters and a delicious hake main course with beans and chorizo, all washed down with a gorgeous full bodied French red wine. Fast and attentive staff. Will definitely come back.

User

One of the best dining experiences with some of the very best wines I've ever had. Amazing food, wine and service

User

My favourite place in London. Could eat their Lancashire eel every day if I could. And as fir the wine, I don't even have to bother, the sommeliers will offer something nice.

User

Just went for wine and cheese at about half ten. Was told the kitchen had closed by one waitress and they could only do wine. Fortunately common sense prevailed with the maitre' who arranged for the kitchen to stay open so that four pieces of very tasty cheese could be cut and put on the plate. Nice wine and even better cheese.

User

Just delightful. Wines, gins great staff .... what's not to love xx

User

I had a fantastic lunch at Terroirs before going to see a show on Saturday. Delicious wine (and I ordered off the short menu - I'm looking forward to taking time to read the full wine menu next time), superb bread, wonderful cheese and helpful staff - I will definitely be back!

User

Great wines, great staff, and a friendly local atmosphere (right in the heart of tourist London). I had the best dish I HAVE EVER HAD, 'Snails on toast'. I dream about it occasionally...

User

Great wine bar man!!!!!!!! Amazing wines, excellent food, awesome people!!!!! Thanks a lot for the excellent and really hard work you had this days during The Real Wine Fair!!!!!!

User

Friendly and accommodating staff. I go there on my own and sit at the bar or with friends and sit at a table. Always good for food and drink. For a glass of wine and lunch of the day plus as much water as you can drink I don't think you can get better value in central London.

User

Food was simply amazing! Menu with great ideas! We enjoyed food and drink: a very good Sauvignon sitting at the bar! A real good time to share with your love or your friends! Nice staff at the bar!!

User

Fantastic, food, wine, staff and ambience. 10 out of 10 easily one of my favourites.

User

Fantastic food and wine. Excellent service. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a decent wine bar in central London.

User

Been here 4 times in the past 3 weeks. The service is exemplary, a seat at the bar is double the experience. The staff are knowledgeable and very personable. All in all a top notch establishment!

User

Once we got used to the menu which was laid out strangely we ordered oysters followed by sea bass. Main course was amazing and we enjoyed the organic wine.

Nice ambience and very reasonably priced for central London.

User

Nice wine, overpriced cheese

User

Very rude host who did everything he could to avoid acknowledging my mom's and my presence. Waiter spilled wine all over our table when pouring, apologised yet did not come back to wipe the table. It shocked all of us. The baby gem salad had heart-attack level of salt. It was so salty it was not edible. When the waiter asked us how the meal was in the end, we told him the salad was very very salty, and he just said 'oh'. Never again.
