Tesco Extra

Today while shopping with my 3 year old I had a lovely experience with the till assistant. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and my little boy was being fidgety in the que, wouldn't keep still. The till assistant I believe her name was Wendy asked my little boy to sit on her lap and scan the shopping with her. He immediately calmed down and enjoyed the experience and I could get on with packing. I thanked her at the time as it was a lovely gesture and wanted to share it so that the store could be aware of a good customer experience in your store.

Excellent. Why cant we have a decent Tesco in Kidlington instead of the excuse for a shop we have.

Can I say how helpful and cheerful the staff were over the Christmas. Everyone from the lovely Floss, the checkout staff and the young lads filling shelves in the beer section who showed me where the new Guinness beer was and even put some in my trolley. Well done everyone.

Today I discovered the free fruit for your children while you shop. Both boys had a banana each! Kept them occupied for a bit. Such a good idea!!

My eldest who's 4 really enjoys riding in the car trolleys. Although I wish you had a few more! As sometimes we can never find it and a massive tantrum happens! Those are winners for a quick shop :)

While visiting the store today a guy not looking where he was going bumped into me and hurt his hand... he then proceeded to verbally abuse me. Upset and harassed I left. I had a few tears in my car before I drove away. I have never been so publicly abused in my life. I won't be shopping there again.

We've shopped here for what, 15 years? Most of our shopping is done here but in recent days & weeks this is becoming a thing of the past where spending & getting most of 'if not all' for a family of 5 is needed on a weekly, fortnightly & monthly basis because your prices are going up, our income is not. We & possibly like other Tesco customers are taking our money elsewhere, your not doing yourself any favours by 'upping prices', why would you think that was a good idea??

How many other regular & long-term customers will be taking £300+ a month elsewhere?

The shop overall is good but is there nowhere else you can put your 'free from' range other then nestled between desserts and the seasonal confectionary range?! It's a strange and unusual punishment having to look at all things I can't eat while finding what I can eat.

Tesco used to have a good range of meat. Now they seem to only sell Red Tractor meat which is quite expensive. A very small joint of lamb was £15. What happened to all the New Zealand lamb they used to sell? In some instances Waitrose has cheaper bargains than Tesco. No wonder people are turning to the cheaper stores such as Lidl and Asda.

Premises very unkempt and need a good clean. Toilets all out of order which is poor for a Saturday morning. Very disappointing visit and not a good advert for Tesco.

No issues until this evening when I really needed a MicroSD memory card... The whole lot of shelving with memory cards on had been emptied ! Either side of memory cards everything was for sale ! having *sighed* I walked to frozen veg section as the 2nd item I wanted was Frozen Mixed Veg... The same !! Everything else but the Mixed Veg section was emptied ! Is this some kind of Telepathic Piss-take ??? Maybe removed for theft reasons (memory cards) but why not man that section in the evening or sell at kiosk ??

Highly unimpressed. Rude and flippant staff. Dirty and generally scruffy around the edges. I'll be going elsewhere in future.

No longer plastic carrier bag recycling at Tesco Extra stores "as standard". Unrecyclable in household council service waste collection therefore some corporate responsibility and environmental awareness, aka common sense, should step in to combat waste production. How does Tesco justify this decision? Poor performance all round.

Glad that you are now stocking paper straws.



To reduce single-use plastics further why don't you

a. sell re-usable mesh bags to put veg and fruit in (I had to buy mine on-line)

b. sell bamboo-handled toothbrushes, like Waitrose?

We had to queue for 20 minutes in the cafe for breakfast, there was only 1 girl serving who was very very slow. when did get served bacon roll turned up before I had got my coffee. (that was how slow she was) the manageress has the couldn't care less attitude and can be very rude to the customers. We go in there nearly every sat morning and it's getting worse. no sauces on table, no spoons. etc

Very very poor food, you should be ashamed of serving that up and passing it off as a meal. �

The shop has deteriorated, the toilets are disgusting and the management just don’t seem to care, which is evident by the lack of responses to the same statements one after another.



Disgraceful.

Still waiting for a reply about the shocking service at the click and collect on Monday. Also waiting for service charge to be refunded. Not happy and not using click and collect for a while.

Quite disgusted what I have been experiencing, brought a 8 pack of coke Thursday and have been really ill since.. have just realised the whole pack is from march 2016!!!

This is absolutely disgusting.really wouldn't expect it from here and never had a bad word about tescos but this is vile.

Only stopped off for a bite to eat, ordered at 13:50 and was told that it would be around 20 to 25 minutes. The food finally came over 50 minutes later after we had asked twice how long it would be!!!

First and last time I'll be ordering my shopping from Tesco, ordered it Friday to be delivered last night, it came an hour late and only 1/3 of my shopping actually came. The driver said he didn't have a clue and I had to ring the helpline. So I did. After an hour on hold at 10 o clock at night I got through to a helpful man. However I feel I haven't had any reimbursement. The man offered me a five pound voucher but that only just refunds the money I paid for the delivery slot and they still can't redelivering my missing items until Monday........
