Tesco Extra

Would like to thank the young gentleman working at Tesco crooksfoot this morning. I left my handbag in the trolley outside in the car park and he found it and handed it in. I'm so very grateful to this young man for this act of kindness and honesty. You should be proud to have such a young man working for you at Tesco and I would like to think that he will be praised and congratulated by his colleagues and Peers for his thoughtfulness. I was overwhelmed to have my personal belongings back.

Shame security tag on item of underwear not identified at till and did not go off at security device on way out. Now have to return to store to have taken off. So annoying!

Parking is awkward. The fuel traffic cuts off the people wanting to get in and out easily and the tanker blocks the view of people comeing out of the fuel area. It's an odd layout and people drive in a confussed way. That said the shop it self is way better than park farm. It has a cafe and toilets too. Tesco is not cheap. You get the main brands at a good price but watch what you pay for toiletries, shampoos etc. They claim 3 for 2 offers but when you check the prices you are paying more than in other shops. I recommend you use a comparison site. Staff at the store are friendly and helpful when you find them but not knowledgeable. I asked a fish monger about sustainability and she thought it meant do the regualy stock it. She didn't understand about fish stocks at all. So I support an independent fish monger and butcher now and buy eggs from a farm. Not sure I trust the whole we support farmers thing at all. Oddly I get better quality for less! But Tesco us great for breads and general groceries like cans etc. Just watch the offers are really offers!

Good shop. Just lacking a cafe. But nice coffee shop.

Really nice big store that feels clean and modern inside. Nice fruit and veg section and bakery is also nice. Nice wide aisles what's easy for when it's busy. When it gets busy there's always plenty of tills open.

Product availability is great, staff are always helpful. Overall a brilliant shopping experience.

It's a Tesco Supermarket. Pretty much the same as any other Tesco supermarket.
