I hate shopping on line and visit this store most weeks . The staff are exceptional and because I am a regular know me and ask how I am etc. Today I had a massive problem - for me - I bought a big warm scarf recently but only got it out yesterday morning to wear. To my horror I found the security tag was still attached and I did not have the receipt. I decided to take it in to the store around ten oclock and wondered if it would bleep as I went through security (it did not do so when I went out!) of course it did and I stood there like a lemon until the security chap came over ( I think he might have been Polish) I explained what had happened, he smiled at me and said he would go and remove the tag immediately, did so amid laughter with the girls on the front desk and off I went to do my shopping. His attitude was brilliant and he is to be congratulated on the way he handled the situation.

Maybe I was overly worried, but having being involved there in an incident a couple of years ago when a chap tried to go out the entrance with £800 of drink, and seen the way the security guards dealt with him, I imagined I might be in the police station before the day was out!

I think they have excellent staff and behave well in a busy time. The manager is approachable and thenstaff seem happy.

I do my shopping here regularly, I also use the pharmacy monthly and the opticians too. In all areas I have found the staff , approachable, friendly and very helpful . Any issues I have had, have been dealt with quickly and effectively . Well done Tesco extra xx
