Tesco Extra

Well done to all the staff working patiently & hard. Not just today, but since the snow. The shop has lost its heating, both the scan as you shop & the self service checkouts. And even a few conveyor belts, where you have to push your own items along � I heard a lot of customers complaining & the staff are being amazing. Think back before technology & it was exactly like today. We coped then & we'll cope now. There was even one female staff member handing out hot cross buns with butter.

So Thankyou to all the staff working hard & dealing with awkward, rude customers & be proud of yourselves today. I hope the company actually takes notice of how amazing you are. We're all human beings at the end of the day.

Clean, well laid out. Had some breakfast and it was really well cooked, came really promptly and was excellent value for money.

Much better than morrisons where I shopped for years and then they decided to have their jumped up 286 year old security guard follow us round the store every time we went in there. The service is always swift at tesco, prices aren't too bad and the fruit and veg is always top quality! Only complaint is when shopping alone the cashiers moves too quickly putting me under pressure asking for the money when I'm trying to bag everything up and the next customer nudgeing closer and using the self-serve tills are always playing up "please wait for assistance" takes about 11 hours to scan and bag a potato. Other than that good store good staff :)

Tesco have moved there fridges round again and nothing flows anymore . But selling on Saturday pork pies that were out of date on 22nd may . Only pork farm house ones there I picked up and got home and realised also out or date coleslaw , think rather than moving food you should check dates better .

visited Tesco Shrewsbury for breakfast with my dad and husband.Well I wish I had saved my money.To start no fried bread as the extractor fan was faulty!!I Had the veggie breakfast and when it arrived my eggs were rock hard and so were the sausages and no hashh brownsToast was totally burnt..I asked where are the hash browns and the lady said oh I will get you some.When they arrived they weren't even cooked and were so soggy.The other breakfasts weren't much better.I would be totally ashamed if I had cooked this and would definately not even served this at home never mind to paying customers.The lady that brought the food out just said she will pass on my comments to the chef!!So all in all a very wasted £22..

Won't be using the travel money service again. Was told one thing when buying travel money then they went back on it when changing money back. Lost money because of that. Not happy. Everyone beware

Was very angry with a member of your staff at customer service today in your Shrewsbury store. Came to the store just after 10pm last night to cash in my money from the coinstar machine & got told i have to cash it in tomorrow as customer service was closed! So thats what i did today so after waiting 20 odd mins in the que with just one staff member on the tills i finally got served and without even looking at my receipt the woman tells me i can't have my money as it hadn't been cashed the day i did it so i told her it was after 10pm so a member of your staff has told me the wrong information? So my £15 is just gone then? She gave me a straight no & that she can't give me it & to ring the number on the back of the receipt so told her i was not happy with her service so i rang head office and they told me i should of had my money so to go back into store and get it so i was very happy with the other lady who served me as she herself questioned why i didn't have it given in the first place. I was very disgusted with the lack of customer service this woman on the tills gave me today and she didn't even look like she knew what she was doing anyways!! Make sure your staff have the right information to give to your customers because this was a nightmare today i had to do 2 trips to sort it out when i should of had no problems in the first place!!

The car wash damaged my new car and they have said they will do nothing for me apparently "the car wash was working correctly"...? My car was 5 days old at the time it scratched the roof - i have pictures to prove the car was unmarked beforehand and then pictures of the roof after. I understand damage can occur if you leave the aerial on etc but i removed that. A scratch from front to back on a car shouldn't be classed as the "car wash working correctly". Appalling!!!

Tesco at cattle market Harlescott hang your head in shame. Having recently spent a great deal of money on the restaurant in your store, today I was appalled to find the toilets in a disgraceful state yet again. As an insulin dependant diabetic, I need a clean environment to carry out my injections when out and about and have, for the past two years, been telling your staff that the toilets need cleaning each time I visit but this visit took the biscuit.

Having used the disabled facilities for privacy, I found a toilet stained brown, the sink plug hole had sticky smelly gunge around it, the sanitary waste bin was lying on the floor and the hand rail and pipes was absolutely filthy as was the waste bin. The level of dirt on the surfaces would suggest a build up over a long period. This is a serious cross infection risk and is totally unacceptable. Having spoken to a manager, I was told that he agrees that it is not acceptable but Tesco used an external cleaning contractor to maintain the hygiene standards within the store.

I understand that the cleaning company is an external contractor, however this does not absolve Tesco of your responsibility and duty of care to your customers. The manager didn't take my name or advise of the course of action that would be taken to resolve the issue.

Come on Tesco, this is not good enough. Two years on and nothing done. Why does no one want to take responsibility for anything. Environmental health would have a field day in these toilets. A bottle of bleach and a little ownership and all would be well. I expect more from you & your brand Tesco, you can't treat your customers with so little respect!
