Thought I’d do a bit of shopping but there was a power cut, then in the darkness my son had a coughing fit and vomited all over. Two members of staff were absolutely amazing helping me a young girl in what I think was a green/ brown zip top and a lady in a red teeshirt, got my son a bottle of water they made sure he was ok, put the shopping in the trolley, carried it downstairs for me and even offered to take it to the car. Fantastic service !!! Thank you so much to these two lovely ladies can you please pass on my appreciation date happened (19.12.17)

So it was my daughter's 30th birthday today and she has such a wide range of disabilities and she was stressing about a dress to wear for her party...after searching all over her sister popped into Tesco with her where she was absolutely spoilt by the assistant on F&F..she actually said she felt "special" and the assistant "helped with her zip"... these small things make such a difference to those most vulnerable... well done Tesco

Today (7/5/17) I called into Tesco sunderland (Newcastle road) to try a few different clothing items on for holiday. I was in the cubicle for approximately 10 mins. I came out to find the main door to the fitting room was pad locked and I was trapped inside. At this point I started to panic, especially as I was by myself! 10 minutes passed and I'm still locked in! Luckily I had my phone with me and I googled a Tesco customer service number beginning 0345 and explained to a guy what had happened. What if there was a fire? I was trapped!!!! At this point thankfully the lady came back and opened the door, I was upset at this point and incredibly panicked, to which the lady replied.... I was only gone a minute! That's not the point! I was locked in and if there was a fire I was completely stuck! She was gone well over minute. Once I got out of the fitting room I went over to customer service to make a complaint, speaking to the store manager Jackie, who apologised and got the lady over, who again repeated I was only gone a minute! I have been informed an F&F manager will call me this afternoon! This is not acceptable and has ruined my day. I suffer panic attacks as it is, but now I will always have a fear of public fitting rooms, what a horrendous experience at Tesco!!!!!

Omg, never have I ever seen staff so scared to give away a carrier bag in all my life.

My nine year old daughter took ill in there this evening and promptly started projectile vomiting.

Rather than move a very unwell, extremely embarrassed child, I asked my son to zoom straight to the checkout and ask for a bag, (mostly to save the cleaners any more work), whilst my other son went hunting for a cleaner.

After ten minutes I left my daughter with my son and the cleaner, (who was absolutely wonderful), and ran to the nearest checkout and asked for a bag quickly explaining why.

She looked over at the man on the opposite checkout and they both sat shrugging their shoulders.

So I said, 'look I’ll pay for it can I just have a bag please?' They both looked around and shrugged again.

The lady who was being served grabbed a bag and gave it to me whilst shouting at the assistant 'for God’s sake it’s just a bag give it to her' I quickly thanked her and ran back to my daughter, who was still being sick.

Five minutes later my eleven year old was back nearly crying. He’d been to every checkout AND customer services explaining what was happening and each and everyone had refused to give him a bag.

A TEN PENCE BAG!

My husband had came in the meantime and was taking my daughter out so I nipped to the checkout to pay for my loaf, and she had the cheek to then charge me for a carrier bag which I know the woman from earlier had paid for!!

I’m am utterly gobsmacked.

I’m more in despair that not just one worker, but ALL of them, are terrified to part with a ten pence bag for an ill child, a clearly anxious mother, and an autistic eleven year old having a major panic attack!

Who the hell is in charge of this place? Hitler?

It’s either violent management or pathetic staffing.

I’m completely shocked and appalled.

I know 'every little helps' but ten pence? Really?

And before you ask if I complained in person, the answer is no.

I had an ill child to get home to, an autistic child to calm and let’s be fair, what would have been the point?

I couldn’t be bothered to do a verbal dance with Hitler and I would have completely lost my temper at the complete neglect and lack of empathy from every single staff member in there, that I would be doing referrals for therapy left right and centre.

I’m gutted.

Properly wounded at the lack of respect.

Bad call Tesco.

Bad call.

I work for a local taxi company part time on a weekend driving a 16 seater mini bus and last night I had the unfortunate job to pick your staff up from your Xmas party at the queen vic. The job was booked for 4 people but I let 16 on the bus and agreed to every person paying £1 each which they did gave the money to a female member of staff who asked to continue the journey to pallion with a male member of staff who was either her boyfriend or a Xmas party bonus. This male was giving it the big he was a manager and blah blah blah as they do. When I got them to pallion the female in question wanted to give me £5? I said you've been given £14 and then had to give another £2 on top of that, suddenly mr billy big bollocks was giving it the big and being very confrontational and pushed his chest out like the full of drink tool he appeared to be. When I said I'd phone the police he said he couldn't give a f*** what I did. When I explained I'd come into your store and what he was doing is gross misconduct he said he couldn't give a F*** to that neither. Personally I'd be in your store now wanting an investigation and I still have the right to phone the police on them which would lead to whatever punishment the store will give them (obviously I've worked in retail and know it's the sack) but I'm being the bigger man and walking away from the situation because I'd never want to put anyone out of a job before Xmas. But I question if they were sober they'd have any of the confidence they had last night. They were a couple of total and utter shit bags!!!

Dreadful customer service. Purchased an item via computer terminal at F&F - my first transaction failed, so I logged the same order again. Received 1 item but 2 transactions were taken from my bank. Provided proof of two payments, I have spent ages chasing this on a number of occasions. I wasnt outwardly accused of being a liar but that was how I've been treated. My bank immediately refunded my payment as soon as I contacted the disputed payments section. As a long standing Tesco customer, I wont be hurrying back to Tesco anytime soon. I am soo disappointed in the service I've had.
