Tesco Extra

Wow just made my day! can't fault the staff at Tesco extra in Scunthorpe. I went through getting my shopping with the self scanner, only to find at the end of my shop the scanner had a problem and I would have to go through the he normal till....not a problem I wasn't bothered .....BUT the manager and other members of staff were really apologetic, the manager handed me a box of chocolates as a good will gesture and another member of staff passed me some flowers for the hassle. Bloody brilliant , thanks Tesco certainly put a smile on my face �

Visited scunthorpe tesco extra today to do our main monthly shop so had a large trolley full and got to the self scan after scanning all our shop to find the system had gone down. The staff were so apologetic, assisted us in unloading and rebagging our shop after scanning it again. Could not praise the checkout supervisor enough and wish we had got her name. Even gave us a free bag and a bunch of flowers for being so understanding!

I was shocked to hear people had been so rude to them and even storming out! A.this is not the staffs fault and b.they were so sorry about it and so helpful they could not be faulted.

So thanks tesco :)

My father Tony Cheshire would publicly like to thank the Tesco home delivery lady who came with a delivery yesterday to find him lying on the floor having tripped in his home. She rallied round the neighbours to get him upright and helped sort him out. I hope you will find this lady and thank her. He went to hospital and nothing was broken but was badly bruised. Once again thank- you.

Lovely staff only down side not much choice in school uniforms sizes but persseco was very good xxxx

Just wanted to publicly say Thankyou to the staff at tesco who were there today at 9am who helped me when my son had one of many seizures which resulted in a lot of blood all the staff were there to help me, I had my shopping carried to the car and my son was given a bottle of water to rinse his mouth out. Thankyou again! X

I was so impressed by the goods on display in the store. I bought chicken thighs from the cooked meats section and all the items that I was looking for were easily found.

I like shopping in Tesco Extra in Scunthorpe and getting things like TV guides, magazines, books, CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, snacks and drinks and having something to eat and drink in Costa Coffee

Disgusting. We've just got Christmas out of the way and already you...yes YOU TESCO, are gearing up for Pancake Tuesday!

I've just seen an ailse with eggs and milk in it and what's in the next aisle? Yes...bloody flour!!

Whenever i go to tesco with my kids,most of the staff are quite nice and the odd one will have a conversation with you. The only problem i have is when i go they sometimes don't have what i need left,which does tick me off,because i have to go to another shop which cost more.Because i don't want to go here there and everywhere i just want to go to one place so there is no real hassle.

Attention to detail... Visited the store at 11.45am to get my lunch... Sandwich meal deal.... No Still Water... It's lunchtime!!!!!'... Member of staff says.... No one ever looks after this section, you need to go to aisle 14 (complete opposite end of this rather large store)and you'll find some "warm" stock there.

This is where customer satisfaction falls down.... Attention to detail!!!!

Tesco Scunthorpe just plumetted in my estimations last night. Fruit juice isle had a near empty crate on it which showed up the disgusting mess behind the crates, where a spillage had not only gone all over the place, it had SET! Looked like it's been there for MONTHS! Certainly wouldn't pass a food hygiene visit, was manky, and utterly unacceptable from such a company!

I would post the photo I took on here but there's no option to (no surprise) So I will message you it instead Tesco you manky buggers!

well got my t.v yesterday after waiting 2 weeks for it to look like its been stud on and them to tell me they cart get it picked up till Tuesday and then they send a other one out probably take a other 2 weeks proper pi** take

Your order pickers need retraining!! How can a store your size not have a sub for 100ml Colgate toothpaste, absolute joke

Why have Tesco's taken the healthy eating of there own brand Butter Mints off the order list i enjoyed them so much and now they are gone, bring them back.

Went to have my military uniform dry cleaned they wanted to charged me £15 for the suit then saw it came with a belt, tried changing me another six for that, and would have to wait 5 working days to get it back.

Visited the petrol station today - my husband and I in two separate cars. Went to pay for mine and shocked to see petrol pouring out from under husbands car. He pulled it away from the forecourt whilst a lady (can't fault her) went to cover it in sand and cordon area off. Husband came back and said nothing is leaking but the pump did not click off and it was so noisy he didn't notice. Proof of the pudding, bill was £87. There is no way you would get that amount of petrol in a quarter full tank. NOT happy. Left details, but someone needs to sort this out. Official complaint winging its way to you.

So went to tesco extra today as i have been told by friends and family that it had a good variety of products and the prices were competitive. Well how wrong were they!! I couldnt get half the things that were on my list either due to Tesco not selling them or they being out of stock. I went in there for the tesco branded products and the value range as was told these were very good only to be told by a member of staff who overheard me moaning to my partner about the lack of products that Tesco are having a refit and after that will no longer be selling tesco branded products or their value range and will only be branded products. Over all i found Tesco over priced compared to another supermarket i had been using near on double the price on some products. Came out with 2 big bags of stuff for just over £70 and thats only for half the stuff i needed. Safe to say i will steer clear of tesco for the future and by the time ive done my full shop it will have cost me about £120 oppose to just the £80 i was expecting to pay. Disappointing 30mile round trip to tesco in the end.

Shocking absolutely shocking . Miserable sour faced staff. DVD department looks like a jumble sale. No baskets on the door again !! Poor selection of goods on the shelf.
