Tftr Productions Description

Third From The Right Productions - home of The Shoutettes and the Great8 Disenchanted! princesses with sassitude.
Our first big production was the regional amateur première of the 60s musical “Shout! ” in July 2016.
Featuring all the well-known hits from the popular solo girl singers of the 60s, this was an ideal show to get our company off to a great start and provide a financial base to build on for our future productions and was a huge hit with our audiences.

In 2017 our September production was another regional premiere as we brought the hilarious musical "Disenchanted! " to the people of the West Midlands for two sold out performances.

During the Summer of 2018 the same cast and production team performed “Disenchanted! ” again first as part of the Black Country Festival in July at Crestwood Theatre, and then a Birmingham première at Blue Orange Theatre in August where we sold out opening night.

In 2019 we put on the regional première of Stiles and Drewe’s fantastic musical “Soho Cinders” at Crestwood Theatre.

TFTR ON TRIAL... All the best from all of us at TFTR HQ to our member Kaz Luckins who is starring in the production of "A Matter Of Law" at The Blue Orange Theatre as part of Birmingham Fest tonight until Saturday. A bit of a departure from her comic tours-de-force in Shout! and Disenchanted! this one but definitely worth checking out if you get the chance :)

SOHO HOW DID IT START... 11 years ago today Stiles and Drewe recorded a concert at Her Majesty's Theatre to celebrate 25 years of writing music together. The second part of "A Spoonful Of Stiles and Drewe" featured six songs from an "upcoming" project that they were developing at the time. That project was "Soho Cinders" and the showcase of new songs performed by a cast of West End performers including a pre-Joseph and Marius, Gareth Gates went down a storm with the audience.... The outrageous and highly irreverent out-there comedy of "I'm So Over Men"; the cute and homely "Wishing For The Normal"; the tongue-in-cheek self-mocking of Latin-tinged "It's Hard To Tell"; the showstopping "You Shall Go To The Ball"; and the pathos-ridden "Gypsies Of The Ether" and "They Don't Make Glass Slippers" (the latter a solo by Gareth Gates) were enough to promote considerable interest in the show. If you want to see and hear what all the fuss was about then come along to our regional premiere at the end of August where our equally talented cast will perform these and other equally catchy songs in "Soho Cinders". Political scandal; the fragility of celebrity; fake news; media spin; romantic, raucous and relevant. Trust us - you don't want to miss this one. Stay tuned for more information; pics; interviews and videos coming soon. In the mean time head over to our website to grab your tickets to THE feel-good hit of this Summer and make it Soho. :) #TFTRProductions #TFTRSohoCinders
