CEREC is a state-of-the-art piece of equipment that allows us to carry out tooth restorations such as crowns in just one visit to the dentist. Previously, to create a crown, we would have had to take an impression of a patientвҖҷs teeth before sending this off to a dental lab to have a suitable crown made. However with CEREC we can create crowns here so in most cases crowns can be applied on the same day, removing the need for temporary crowns. For more details call 01933 318481.

NATIONAL TOOTH ACHE DAY
Also known as odontalgia, a toothache is pain generating from a tooth or multiple teeth. National Toothache Day is observed annually on February 9.
A toothache can make us miserable, making it difficult to eat, sleep or sometimes even talk. ItвҖҷs safe to say, toothaches are never pleasant and not really something to celebrate.
... We can, however, be aware of how to prevent toothaches.
Routine dental care is an important first step. Avoiding sugary foods and acidic drinks and daily brushing and flossing are important, too. Even so, we can still develop cavities, have accidents that break or chip at tooth or find ourselves with an infection. Teeth can also become sensitive to heat or cold.
Treating a toothache in the short term may be simply handled by over-the-counter treatments, but seeing a denist may still be required to resolve the issue. Some toothaches are so severe as to require emergency intervention, so treating the early signs of a mild toothache is important.

I'm a dentist wuss, since a bad experience in my 20's at another dentist with a terible filling and painful root canal which went wrong, I had been looking for a dental practice that helped me build back up trust again. I have been a patient for > 10 years now of TG's with Nicola & then Sundip. Last month I had a very tricky wisdom tooth extraction done under sedation because of how scared I was and it was located near my facial nerve. From the non painful canulation to the procedure itself lasting ~ 1 hour and not the expected 2 and the excellent follow up care, (no dry socket like when I had a WT extraction in the hospital in the past) I felt I was treated as an individual patient. I think Sundip is a very skilled and professional individual. I can honestly say this company has built up my trust in dentists again and Iam happy to give them a 5 star review

Overall I had teeth whitening, a root canal on my front teeth and composite added to my other front teeth to give them a more natural look and even makes them look so much straighter!



Catherine was patient with me and made sure I was completely happy with any suggestions before we went ahead with any treatments and she made sure I was 100% happy with the end result. Being a perfectionist I was surprised that I absolutely LOVED the end result. Catherine listens, explains and gives you huge confidence with her open and honest approach. So much so, I have now completed the work, have a great smile and lost that fear. Little does Catherine know, but I recommend her and TG's every time some raises the question of where to go.

Can not rate TG's enough! Very friendly, patient staff, I used to be petrified of the dentist and still nervous, but I can not fault them with the way they assure me and treat me. They are an Amazing team!
