Great news! Live Music is returning to the Thai Orchid every Thursday this December. Beginning with Josh Hassell on the 6th! We hope to see you all there for an early Christmas sing-a-long!

Don't forget to join us this Thursday for our Loi Krathong festival. Entrance is just £20 per person, with half of all proceeds going to charity. Entrance will also give you unlimited access to our buffet of Thai food! We can't wait to see you all there!

Come and join us on the 22nd November for our Loi Krathong festival on the river terrace, where you will be able to light lanterns on the river and sample an array of Thai food! Tickets are £20 per person and half of all proceeds will be going towards charity. Just call us on 01622 681561 to reserve your space.
Tickets will include entrance and food, lanterns will be available to purchase at a small cost on the night. All proceeds from lantern sales will go to our local temple.

Went there last night and when i booked I asked for a table with a view. I was told Fridays and Saturdays they can't as it's the busiest time. When I arrived they had reserved me a table over looking the river! Nice touch and will be going back. Mark the barman very professional.

Went there for the first time yesterday and was not disappointed! They were doing Sunday eat as much as you like and it was absolutely delicious, all dishes prepared fresh and brought to your table. Staff very friendly and polite. Will definitely visit again 🖒

We ate there last night and I have to say totally stunning the service and quality of food is second to none we loved the whole evening. Worth 5/5 however the gents toilets is in need of a revamp...thanks for a great evening �

Was there on Sunday 20th. The food is delicious and leaves you more than satisfied, and had a lovely waiter / barman who was friendly, funny and helpful, and made sure our experience there was a very pleasant one. Will definitely recommend to others and will be returning 👍🏼

Very nice restaurant, lovely staff, very clean. The afternoon tea was nice but lacked the wow factor, the sandwiches were plain and not very exciting, and the scones were beautiful but we didn’t like the little cakes, but overall a lovely place to try, with the bonus of looking over the river.

The best thai green curry you can taste (and I have been to many thai restaurants). Always good service, both in the restaurant and when ordering online. 5 out of 5.

My first meal here today. We had the £15.95 per person Sunday deal. Amazing! The food was fantastic and as much as we wanted! we had a sharing platter to start which was delicious then a second dish each of another starter, then main dish and rice, then back to one more starter item each. Faultless wonderful service. Beautiful venue with views over the river. Thankyou so much!

I bought my Mum a Groupon voucher for Afternoon tea at the Thai Orchid. We used it yesterday, we arrived early and although causing the staff to run around like blue a##e flies they were very polite, friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious, four types of sandwiches, cherry scones with clotted cream and Jam then a selection of cakes.

Would defo recommend for Afternoon tea. We'd love to go back (promise we'll be punctual rather than early next time)

Have been to the Thai Orchid a few times and have always found the food lovely and all the staff are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way for you, the downstairs bar is also great with comfortable chairs and a very friendly atmosphere, I have no reservations in recommending the Thai Orchid as a lovely place to visit.

Had a great time at theThai Orchid, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent , you are given time to eat and socialise, very relaxing cannot recommend the Thia Orchid enough. There is parking outside but it is limited, there are at parks close by which are reasonably priced .

Four of us went last night, a last minute booking. They managed to squeeze us in and from the moment we arrived, even though they were very busy they were very attentive to our needs. Superb food and great staff, thank you.

Absolutely beautiful freshly cooked food, staff were amazing and really accommodating as we were short on time they made sure we had plenty of time to eat by getting our food ready and served as soon as possible � Highly recommend �

Yes was there Wednesday 30th may for lunch with my friend .first time eating there. Yes food lovely .sat outside nice service very friendly.would definitely go back .

Good food but seriously let down by the front of house. Older Barman didn't seem to care about his job tbh, can't get a tab at the bar if we were eating, although they were ferrying drinks up and down from both bars anyway. the younger one bitching to customers about a customer who apparently should make the effort to come and collect their delivery, Because after all they are Only 2 bloody minutes up the road in the Premier inn why can't they just walk here? Absolutely amazed what I was hearing. If you can't deliver for whatever reason, Don't take the orders. Got given directions to our table rather than shown to it like everyone else. Totally felt like we and the other customers who decided that was the place to eat were felt to be an inconvenience. Just because you had a birthday party going on and obviously busy, there is no need to act and present yourselves in that manner. Only other good thing I will say is that the Staff upstairs serving were very helpful polite and speedy, thank you ladies for that. On the whole we won't be visiting again.

First time at this restaurant for our wedding anniversary, Lovely looking restaurant, lovely staff, quick service, but the food was not to my liking, it was too salty and greasy and there was a soapy taste in the fish cakes which were also full of grease and were like rubber, the Thai red curry was ok but far too much salt and I couldn't finish it, sorry Thai orchid, maybe we'll try the Sunday buffet as thats seems to be popular we will give it another try.

Been to this restaurant a few times now but today was not a good experience. Food was top as always but the leading waitress had no help from her staff today and really let herself and the restaurant down

Had frozen food put on our table which in my eyes is unforgivable. The barman was very rude and for not of my misses I could have kicked off. The barman shouldn't just chuck glasses on the table and then keep staring me in the eye. (Complete twat ). Should get rid of some of the younger staff as they are useless at there job as this is a lovely restaurant let down by some of the employees which is a shame

been here for over 2hrs now. had starters haven’t asked us for main meals. we was here one hour before we even got serve a drink. did get our starts for free tho but i’m still hungry lol all you can eat they won’t serve you lol. good luck. starter’s was well nice tho.

I have ordered delivery twice from her, using the restaurants website, and both times it has taken nearly two hours to arrive. Although the food is good, the service is shocking so won’t be going there again.
