The 6% Club was born from the frustrating statistic that as few as 6% of the population of the deal-making community is female. This lack of representation, be that in Investment Houses, Law Firms, Advisers or Investments themselves, can be off-putting for women looking to break into, or progress, within the industry. As Marian Wright Edelman once said 'You Can't be What You Can't See'. Our aim is to change these stats; by connecting high Profile Women in the Deal Making Community with qualified accountants and lawyers who want to learn more about: - The Life of a Management Team in a PE /VC Investment- The Role of an Investment Team and - Advisory and it's place within a Deal - The Legals that drive a Deal
