it's a good place for an drink with family would go again

Went for a drink with friends as it there local. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. They had the live football on too which is always a bonus for me. The Acorn was warm and cosy as it was rather chilly outside. Will definitely be frequenting this pub again and we all felt very welcome too.

Timothy Taylor’s landlord is excellent here. Warm, hospitable pub under new management.

Musical festival night with Sawdust fantastic. Great atmosphere.

Good memories of when we came home

Fun atmosphere and ran by great people. Always have a great time when I visit!

Came today for lunch with friends who have just moved to the area. Lovely friendly proper pub. Kid's food brought out before adults which is always the sign of a good pub. Sunday roast was amazing! Still full now!

Annual Boxing Day visit. Good selection of beers and lagers. Ample seating for our large family and sky sports to keep track of the seasonal footie scores!

Always a friendly welcome staff are fantastic

Planned visit to take advantage of the Sky Sports viewing. Live F1 and good beers. 3 real ale pumps were on and a decent lager selection too. No complaints on the day. Would have been good if some bar menu was available - but seems to have been discontinued.

Decent selection of beers and ales. Friendly staff and good grub. Well worth a try.
