The Acorn Hotel

Had a lovely time with friends. Made all the nicer by the good service from Will really pleasant and attentive .

Average food, I had the Chicken Madras Pakora Skillet and although the Pakora themselves were nice the whole dish was too dry and bland, plain rice, poppadoms and jus a couple of small dollops of sour cream and Chutney. Adding a curry sauce would have helped.

NO SIGN THAT THE FOOD STOP SERVING AT 21:00
BAD ATTITUDE ON THE BAR STAFF AT 21:11 AFTER WE SAT BY THE BAR FOR 15 MINUTES... JOKE OF A PLACE.

Meal was OK but not very much choice of food as the menu is changing on Wednesday, can't really understand why you would run out of fish and chips!! You would think belonging to a chain of sizzlers they would be a lot more organised

Friends staff.lovely food and quite cheap.lovely pub to visit. Outside sitting area well presented. You won't be dissapointed
