Lovely food and very fast service. We used the wetherspoons app which worked very well and meant we could just walk in, sit at a table and not get up again until we left. Very nice staff too!

Great pub/hotel. Refurbishment is excellent. Quality food and ales at very reasonable price. Staff are friendly and approachable.

We stayed in the hotel in November whilst visiting our son. The receptionist Tina? Was brilliant sorting out our booking which I'd messed up. Rooms were large. Comfy beds. Clean, beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend. Special thanks again to Tina. She should get a Xmas bonus Mr Wetherspoons..... 🎄🎄🎄

Centrally located within easy walking distance of the train and bus station. A very nice pub with a good atmosphere and great selection of real ales. They also have good selection of food available at very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Very nice hotel with very comfortable bed ,and friendly staff. Extremely quiet considering I was on the 1st floor just above the pub. Will most certainty stay again

I was very pleasantly surprised by just how good this hotel is. I travel a lot with work and stay in a lot of hotels. This is the best i have stayed in within this price range by a country mile

Great pub that offers a wide selection of food and all at a reasonable price. Plenty of room for many people. Staff very warm and friendly. Ideally located in the centre of town

Was a little nervous about booking a room above a wether spoons pub. But was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, very modern and very comfortable. You could sit outside on the roof which was very nice away from the hustle in the bar downstairs and order food and drinks through the app very convenient. For £59 was a bargain.

Don't normally do this but credit where it's due. We walked in and the place was heaving. Found a table and ordered food and drink with the online app. Staff were really friendly and meal arrived in less than 10 minutes. Food was tasty and we'll cooked. Recommended.

Food generally good but can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes noisy depending on the time and day you go in.

Very greasy breakfast everything piled on top of each other'service ask 3 different people half hour ago for small spoon for 3 year old guess what still waiting level of business quiet so no excuse

Today we had the superfood pasta and a chicken and bacon salad. My pasta has gotten at lot smaller portion but same price but it tastes great just why are the portions growing smaller?

My husband and son had the large breakfast it wasn't worth the price also never got the mushrooms that were supposed to of had it was all luck warm. I ordered bacon and tomato sandwich what a joke that was luck warm bacon oh and half a tomato just put inside the bread cake it's certainly gone done since the last time we had a meal in there what a shame
