Its the Royal Wedding on Saturday so to celebrate we have a set £20 three course starting with Coronation Chicken followed by a fabulous Lamb creation and finishing with a Strawberry Eton Mess. Come and join us!

We are looking to recruit a commis chef and a chef de partie at The Lazy Toad. If you have a passion for food, love working in a fast paced but nurturing environment come and join our fabulous team. Wonderful food, We started with the Quickes farm Pinwheels scrummy! Husband had the Beef fillet and I had confit Neck of Lamb. We both agreed the meat was beautifully cooked and we loved the way it was served. I adore lemon desserts and the Possett didn't disappoint. Hope to go back when the weather is warm and the lanes less icy. Oh and they made us a chocolate plate for our anniversary. A nice touch!

What a little gem with the warmest of welcomes from the gorgeous Alice and Harriet and the less gorgeous, but equally welcoming Mike. The Sunday lunch was delicious all enjoyed in relaxed, comfortable surroundings. Thank you!

We loved the lazy toad , the staff were all on the ball , lovely atmosphere , pooch friendly. And above all the food was outstanding , no complaints and we will be back , thank you

The lazy toad, not being a local, was an amazing find.

The moment you pull into the driveway opposite the Village Church you realise the narrow lanes were worth it.

The setting fab, the decor so calming and the food well!!

You must make the effort to come but then on second thoughts don’t

The interior decor is on trend but homely, even the car park was beautiful!

Friendly intelligent staff, great menu , perfectly cooked food, and we arrived un booked , just minutes before the kitchen closed.

They even had my favourite wine , Whispering Angel on the list! I live in a town full of great places to eat, but will now be heading back to The Toad to further discover the menu.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every course saw clean plates all round. Took friends who were all really impressed. ��

The first time we have been. Absolutely fantastic meal will definitely go again. Staff very friendly. Would recommend you try. A big thank you to the chef and staff.

Love this pub - can only go as a treat when visiting family in Exeter. Food exceptionally good, staff super friendly. Wished we lived nearer so could pop in more often.

Had the fillet steak and it melted in my mouth . Cooked perfectly it was superb . Made a pig of myself and had lemon posset and again it was faultless . Lovely atmosphere and good wine �. Will definitely be back soon .

We rode our horses over for a pint today and the staff kindly gave us a bucket of water for our horses.

Gorgeous food and really nice outside seating.

Early November we had a family get together, twelve of us, food couldn't be faulted, beer well conditioned and staff very accommodating. We shall certainly be back. I have recommended this venue to many friends. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Amazing meal this evening. Really enjoyed a perfectly cooked fillet of beef with beautiful roast veg. The BlackBerry cheese cake was worth the drive out alone. Well done xxxx

Very friendly staff and the food was very nice. Cosy little pub would be nice to return in the summer as lovely seating area outside with bar & grill area.
