The Air Quality Group

@AirQualityGroup is a Citizen Scientist engagement project to allow localised real time air quality data to be accessed by the public. It is based on a network of new generation "low cost sensors" which monitor a range of air pollution indicators including NO2, O3, PM10 & PM2. 5. . The new DEFRA publicised "low cost air quality" allow Local Authorities to site these smaller devices in locations where the larger units could not be situated and where the data is vitally important, like day care centres, schools, hospitals and GP surgeries.
