We used the app to order food and drinks as the bar was heaving! ( to be expected right on the front) no issues at all service was quick & efficient

Called in at The Albert and the Lion 🦁 before a show in The Winter Gardens round the corner . Great spot used Wetherspoon app to order food and drinks very efficient service only three minutes between ordering and arrival of drinks 🍹 followed swiftly by food . Warm atmosphere friendly staff food was good quality reasonably priced . Check back carried out moments after food delivered to table . Great spot good view out of the windows at the promenade overall good pub

Really friendly and very lively place , called in to shelter from the wind and rain last night decided to have a meal which we both thoroughly enjoyed will call again next time we are in Blackpool.

Had a wonderful visit yesterday place was busy but got served at bar quick and meal only took about 5 minutes to arrive steak chips and peas for £8 good value see you soon

As with any Wetherspoons- food good, staff very efficient, drinks so reasonable. After a cold afternoon, on the Pleasure Beach, a lovely warm fire and food was much needed! Great experience

We went for food and a pint. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a meat feast pizza with drinks. The pizzas come after about 10 mins. Very fresh and tasty. I would go again

Very cheap cask ale and bar food. With cask ale allow to settle and ask for a top up as you will get 2/3 of a pint. But at over £1 a pint cheaper than other Blackpool pubs it is good anyway.

I have been here a few times and have never had a problem, only yesterday they got the table number wrong, not a major disaster, the meal was lovely.

All food must be microwaved only just paid and sat down when food came

Good place for a drink, but better places to eat, such as Smithy's by the train station....

Disappointed with the gluten free breakfast for what you got and the price was terrible....they need to bring dairy and gluten free together and the chips arent gluten free

Nice pub friendly staff mine and my sons jacket potatoes arrived cold so told the waitress who apologised and took them back. The arrived back within 5 minutes with the bowls that hot I couldn’t touch them from where they had just been put back in to the microwave so the beans had dried out and the cheese had melted on to the bowl. On the positive my partner enjoyed his chicken burger

Absolutely packed, no one guiding people to tables and cleaning the ones empty to allow people to sit down.

The lasagne was cold and my friends burger you could have used as a frisbee then to top that i had to go ask for the table to be cleared after bin sat at table for half hr with the plates and they could not say they were run off their feet only 15 people in the place.

I ordered three meals at the bar including a children's meal, to be told that they didn't have any of the accompaniments to go with the children's meals. I asked if my daughter could have a piece of garlic bread instead, and was told they can't exchange anything! How are you exchanging something when you don't have the thing she originally wanted? You couldn't spare a measly single piece of garlic bread? Rubbish customer service. We cancelled the order and went to Hungry Horse and had a fantastic meal, at better value than Wetherspoon.

Horrific! Went today, and the chefs must be psychic, before I got back to the table after ordering my meal (a 3 minute difference) my meal had been delivered twice, my Mum sent it back the first time as I was still paying for it so she told the waitress it wasn't possible that it was mine as I was ordering it, I literally sat down anď my Mum was trying to tell me what had happened, before she got the first sentence out my meal was brought to the table again! I asked for a refund and explained I had worked in the catering trade, as a mid 40 year old I was spoken to by an early, very early twenty odd year old who said she was also kitchen trained and the fact that the kitchen was 'on point' today was a good thing and huffed we were ungrateful. I can cook, what I can't do is cook a fresh burger, chips, onion rings, assemble it and deliver it in under 2 minutes. Oh and she told us "if we went to a fish and chip shop then we would have got it even quicker" Just to clarify the last time I went to a chip shop I waited more than 3 minutes to take it away � Rude staff, ridiculously fast food but the chefs are psychic ��

Don't normally have a problem hence why we went back.



Went for breakfast on Sunday morning (10.00) my partner was at the bar for 20 minutes, being ignored - everyone else was being served who were stood at the side of him. He answered staff when they asked who was next and was looked at in disgust. We promptly walked back out and went to #thelaytonrakes where we were served within 5 minutes (there were about the same amount of customers too
