Here’s the plan for this weekend so have a read if you are coming down. Saturday 9-5 breakfast and lunch. Last brekkie order taken at 11.30. We have some availability for walk ins. We have a baby shower in from 2.30 so part of the room will be out of use.
Sunday 10-3... Only open for breakfast this week. Then coffee/tea and cake. Last orders for brekkie at 11.30. Booking is recommended!

So everyone’s asking what’s happening with our little bakehouse when @down_in_albion_prescot opens tomorrow?! The bakehouse is still open but will just be a cake shop. So you can pop in to order/collect your celebration cakes and of course grab cake to take away. Our opening hours will change so keep an eye out for that but tomorrow (sat) we will be open 9.30-3. So if you fancy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea or even just a cuppa and cake then @down_in_albion_prescot is the place to go! We’ve worked our socks off to make the place lovely for you!! #prescot #independent #cakeshop #cake

So here’s the plan for DOWN IN ALBION this weekend.
We are starting off on a slightly shorter menu than planned but that’s only because we have a boss new kitchen and we aren’t used to it yet. 😊
Saturday 9-5 is breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
... Sunday 10-4 is breakfast/brunch and afternoon tea.
We will be closed Monday then back open Tuesday.
We are working on a Sunday lunch menu so will be launching that soon.
ALSO we have no phone/internet yet so it’s going to be cash only until that’s installed.
The bakehouse will still be open for cake orders and cake to take away. New opening hours will be announced next week.
We Look forward to welcoming you all... but not all at once please!! 😂😂😂 xxx

ITS OFFICIAL!!!! We are opening this Saturday in our new home!!!! 13-15 Atherton Street. Prescot. Facing the Methodist church.
We will be open 9 til 5 Saturday 29th and 10-4 Sunday 30th.... Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Please spread the word. 😊 Cake orders can still be placed/collected at the Bakehouse and you can still go there to buy cake-away!

What a lovely place to have afternoon tea , so quirky, it was refreshing to see an independent little tearoom doing so well . The staff where so helpful and nothing was to much trouble , I wish them good luck in there new venture and will be visiting once it is open for business �

Visited The Albion Bakehouse for the first time today and will definitely return! We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and had afternoon tea. It was absolutely fabulous. The cakes were delicious and so much effort had been put in. For my daughter's children's afternoon tea they had even made a special cake topper saying happy birthday. The staff were also very friendly and helpful even to accommodate a pram and baby in the small tearoom.

Pop in for cakes every time we return to Prescot. Always welcomed by the friendly staff and lovely to chat to Nina. Everything tastes delicious and looks gorgeous. We even got our wedding cake made by Nina and are tucking into our take away cakes as I type - nom!

Ordered some cupcakes last minute due to an unfortunate cancellation. Had lunch whilst pinking the cakes up with my little boy thoroughly enjoyed it looked after so week nice to have items there to keep my son entertained too whilst we waited for our lovely sandwiches. The cakes are amazing and the cupcakes are the best I've ever had. Thanks so much I'll be sure to be back �

Nina made a stunning birthday cake for my 12yr old daughter, it was exactly what she wanted...ballerina shoes and macaroons, and it tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend

I've had two cakes made by Nina in as many weeks - one for a baby shower and one for a birthday. I can't eat gluten and these are the best gluten free cakes I have ever tasted, not only that, they are real show stoppers to look at �I noticed that there were plenty of gluten free cakes at the counter too, so I'll definitely be heading to the Albion Bakehouse for afternoon tea in the near future. My new favourite bakery!

I was looking for recommendations for a chocolate drip cake for my son's 16th Birthday and quite a few told me to try The Albion Bake house,so I gave them a message because I did leave it last minute and was told they could do one for me which was brilliant....we opted for white sponge and nutella buttercream,milk chocolate dripping and my son's favourite chocolate,,well what can I say we were not disappointed the cake was to die for Absolutely Amazing!!!!!���� Thankyou again!!!we will be ordering again in the future with 4 children plenty of birthdays!!!! X x X

I took 5 very excited 6 year old's for afternoon tea and we were able to sit upstairs (good idea due to the noise of the girls chattering) The room was lovely and they thoroughly enjoyed the lovely sandwiches, cakes and scones. Will definitely return.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband and said he loves White Chocolate and Caramel/Toffee and boy did they deliver. It was delicious and the more than I could have imagined. Excellent communication and perfect service. I will be ordering again � xx

I have visited the tea room many times from an impromptu coffee and cake to pre booked afternoon teas. I love the ambience, an eclectic tearoom with friendly, chatty staff and the cakes.. wow. I have to avoid gluten and dairy and it's almost impossible to find cakes that have neither and still taste good...not a problem here, they are amazing. Well worth a visit

Fabulous little tea room. Wonderful home made cakes. Very friendly staff and it is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

Called in for tea and cake with my friend on Thursday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were super attentive despite my taking ages to decide which cake to have. Piping hot brew in a spotlessly clean establishment. Thank you Albion Bakehouse.�

Been meaning to try out this place for a while and never get the chance. So when I saw they do a takeaway Afternoon tea it had to be tried.



So I bought a tea for 2 for a friend who doesn't like going out and she/we loved it. Excellent value for money and whilst I was there got myself a few cakes, they were gorgeous too..... ate by the kids within an hour of entering the house!



Saturday afternoon tea for 2 from the Bakehouse and a bottle of prosecco is the way forward. Highly recommend.

Adults afternoon tea was lovely, the cakes and sandwiches were gorgeous and you get sooo much food for your money plus unlimited tea/coffee � We had to take half of our cakes home � My daughter had the kids afternoon tea and it was adorable, all her cakes decorated with sprinkles, she got marshmallows, sandwiches, crisps and a big drink of juice too. The effort was spot on and the customer service was brilliant. Ideal for a special occasion xx
