Jolly good beer, jolly nice staff, bit noisy but as it was a 'first night ' that's allowed.

The background music was first rate and could have been a tad louder (or the other punters could have been a tad quieter!) but I'm only really saying that because I like vintage soul and Studio 1...

All in all the Albion has announced its presence in a top-of-the-shop manner!

Cheers, all! Here's to the next pint!!

User

Great selection of ever changing beers on cask and keg and the staff are friendly and can recommend a good beer (or 2) if you can't decide.

User

Great pub. Amazing range of and great food. The steak nights are unbelievable value. Nice locals, ace beer garden, friendly staff. Best pub in Kingston.

User

Great pub in Kingston at last! Excellent Beers, lagers and ciders as well as a great range of whiskies and Gins. Food looks great and reasonably priced although I havnt eaten there yet and as always music played from vinyl!! Well worth a visit!

User

Great food and a fantastic range of ciders (and beer). I do wish they would get the Ginger Lillies in at some point again but I'm sure it will happen eventually. I would especially recommend the ribs (pork or beef) or the Asian Provocature speciality burger when it is on on a Thursday.

User

Great beers great food great staff .... lovely outdoor space round the back ... the best Sunday roast in Kingston .... 😋

User

Good beer and great traditional atmosphere.

Has a good outside garden area for the summer.

Have not sampled the food yet but is always busy.

User

Finally a decent craft beer pub in Kingston. Sister pub to the equally excellent Antelope, an amazing selection of beers on tap and great atmosphere

User

Fantastic selection of ales, some of their own Big Smoke Brewery creation, 15 minutes walk from the front door. They had The Park Brewery's Reasons To Be Cheerful IPA on, a cracking pint if you like it hoppy. London Brewery Co. Oatmeal Stout was also delicious, as was the Big Smoke Milk Stout.

Lovely spacious interior, big area out the back, pleasant, knowledgeable staff. The Big Smoke brews are not brewed on site but at The Antelope in Surbiton. Got to go and eat there soon.

User

Fantastic little pub with a massive range of craft beers, excellent food and very friendly staff.

User

Came down from The East Midlands to this beer fest. Great beer and met up with some old friends.

User

An excellent pub. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and polite. They have an excellent range of locally brewed ‘craft’ beers (the stout is truly scrumptious). I also had fantastic value chicken burger — it was very obviously cooked with care: a delicious spicy coating in a delicious basil mayonnaise dressing with fresh coleslaw and excellent chips...and all that for £10. And it’s entirely family-friendly and dog-friendly too. This is what a local pub should be.

User

Amazing selection of beer. Their own brewed beer (big smoke) is super tasty as well. Great atmosphere. They always have good music on in the background (last night they played a bunch of soul records). Also, on most nights there are friendly dogs hanging out. Staff are friendly and there is a garden, what else do you need??

User

A real gem, this pub has been lovingly restored to a very high standard while retaining the simple elegance typical of many pubs in my youth. Plenty of real beers and ciders, a roaring log fire and friendly staff. The food is simple but delicious and even the acoustics are perfect, pleasant music at a good volume which doesn't drown out conversation, obvoiusly a quality sound system which is a boon to deaf old gits like myself :-) .

User

Really nice civilised pub. If you’re more of a Wetherspoons fan, avoid this excellent pub and diner, it’s not for you.

Superb range of real ales and real ciders, all on draft. No lagers. No Guinness. Menu is varied. Food nicely prepared and well cooked and represented good value for non processed food.

Nice atmosphere and generally a good place to eat and drink in Fairfield.

User

Great beer, lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. Our meal was so big we had to walk it off around Kingston afterwards! Giving it 4 not 5, as I thought the burger I had wasn't up to the standards of everything else. But my husband had a delicious pizza. Glad to have a good pub nearby at last!

User

Great beer pub in Kingston at last, has needed one of these for ages!

Great choice of cask and keg ales and a loyalty card scheme for hand pumped pints makes your 10th pint free. They even give you credit for half pints!

Lovely interior, good feel to the place, must eat there next time as the food looked fab!

User

Great selection of beers perhaps as it was so new staff didn't really know much about them and weren't really able to advise. It was a nice environment- great to see vinyl being played. But it felt a little understaffed and the service was slow. Some of the food was nice and the other half was over cooked and a little burnt.

We would definitely return and would give the food a second chance as it felt like everyone was still finding their feet.

User

Today was a huge let down I'm a local and come here often and outside it says family pub well today it was far from that! I went with my son and a friend child they where cold and unaccommodating to the children when we were the only ones in the pub at the time and we stayed there for hours and ordered food and drinks so they should have been happy for the business but I picked up some colouring pencils next to me and gave my son a leaflet on the table to draw on the bar lady came over Snapchat off of him he got very upset and can I just mention my son is autistic so he didn't quite understand and if anyone was at fault it was me and it was a just a leaflet for goodness sake the crayon shouldn't have been there in that case and then there was empty beer barrels in the garden that my son saw a child play with beforehand so he rolled it over and the staff come up to me very abruptly about it and I was just about to stop him from doing it 10 minutes later he did come up and apologise but all in all extremely disappointed and I will let it be known that it wasn't family friendly and I don't think I'll go back
