What a place to have a great meal , especially the Carvery , hot food with plenty of choice meats and veg served by polite and friendly staff . I have been coming here for several years now and have tried other venues , believe me I love my food and would recommend the Anchor Inn too anyone looking for a place to stay or just for a meal .

Went for sunday carvery yesterday with my family for my birthday and i cannot rate the food highly enough. Best roast dinner anywhere by far! Couldn't fault a thing. Desserts were to die for as well. Fantastic. We will definitely be back! Thank you! X

We went to a 40th birthday party on Saturday 20th January 2018 we were pleasntly surprised with the Anchor the decor is lovely up to date and homely. Staff were all very plesent and the food was very very good the chef coped with serving 60 of us table by table our choice or pre ordered food which was all hot and delicious would defo reccomend

We went out for a meal with friends who we hadn’t seen in a while . The food was great , the staff couldn’t of done enough for you and nothing was too much trouble . Very polite and friendly . Good atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back . Keep up the good work .

This is the place to go if you want to eat good food, served by friendly and social people, can't recommend this beautiful little pub highly enough, a brilliant and enjoyable night was had by all.

One of the best places around here for a lovely meal The Carvary is always well stocked with lovely meat and vegetables Love to take any visitors we have there for a meal they are always impressed

One of the best carverys I’ve been to. Chairs, tablets etc are all very nice. Couldn’t fault the food at all. Well worth a visit.

Lovely carvery today. Tables are not cramped close together like some places and great service. All the food was fresh and beautifully cooked I highly recommend this place. We will be back �

Just stayed for 3 nights and would highly recommend the Anchor Inn. The food and staff were lovely. Rooms were comfortable. Thank you to the lady on Saturday morning who made my son up a lovely pack lunch for our long journey back home.

Great place to stay when on your travels! Very lively,super food (even catering for a vegetarian!) and smart,clean rooms.The staff were all brilliant,really helpful and on the ball.Can't recommend it enough.�

staff are fantastic with a sense of humour which is nice really would recommend this place to anyone staying or just to come for a meal we have come from Cambridge

Very accommodating staff they made my chili con carne extra hot and accommodated too our little girl

Came in with the children for a Valentine’s lunch and have to say BEST meal out we’ve had in a long time

Even the Children’s meals looked super

Absolutely top stuff, fantastic staff , lovely surroundings and one of the best carveries ever , so much choice and all fresh ,also looked after my Mrs who is gluten free. Will definitely become a regular !
