Today is a great day in Ripley!
The "Grape & Grain" Farmers Market will run from 10am to 6pm, with 75 stalls and local bands playing on the Village Green all day. Pop across the High Street to The Ripley Anchor when you need a break to enjoy a cool refresher and some snacks.

User

My family and I had a lovely meal here really enjoyed it, lovely staff and location highly recommended. 👍

User

Lovely little place, great food. Coped well with our table of 10.

I think Mr Ridder (below) went to another place. We were there this week in the Aubergine room - Fan-bloody-tastic. (I always like the idea of a waiter with grey hair - I feel I'm in good hands). We have been before, for a nice meal of just a bite to eat; but when a special occasion cropped up they really pulled all the stops out - THANKYOU.

I booked The Anchor for lunch for my Mum's birthday as it was near to Wisley where we were visiting. I have not heard of Ripley or The Anchor before but saw it was recommended. It was superb. Each course was used interesting ingredients, was presented beautifully and was delicious. The

Chef even wrote Happy Birthday on my Mum's dessert plate! The staff were lovely and the ambience of the pub relaxing and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this pub if you are in the area.

User

Had the most fantastic lunch, could not fault any of it. The food was all awesome, the service was great. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you

User

Great meal. Flavours were excellent, portion size was perfect and the service very good. We’ll be back!!

User

Great food, definitely will be going back, so nice to have somewhere so close with such delicious food.

User

Great beer and great food in a perfect setting. The bar man knew his beer which is always good to hear.

User

Exceptional meal. Lovely seasonal menu with attention to detail in every dish. Warm, attentive service. Perfect for an evening meal with friends.

User

We love it here and there was no disappointment at this visit. For me there's not much to make this perfect. Great food and service. Highlights this time Silent Pool gin. Perfectly smooth, a real find. But OMG yogurt mousse. Perrrrrr-fect.

User

This is the nearest we come to having a local - we are very frequent 'visitors'!

Great setting, lovely staff, great Badger Beer and the new Autumn menu has some interesting dishes. If you're hungry check out the Seafood Platter it's huge!

User

Good position, good food, service slow...if it matters to you.

User

Service was very good and the staff polite and friendly. However the food, whilst certainly not dreadful, was a bit incipid and the portions very small. Certainly not value for money, 3 courses with a bottle of wine for £145. There are far better places to eat, serving beautiful local produce, in Surrey for a lot less.

User

Lovely location and very friendly and helpful staff. Food was ok but nothing special. I had the roast turkey and think my own home cooked roast is much better.

User

Food was good but service slow. A couple of course were cold and we had to send back . Our waitress was excellent but she was overrun . If you offer a taster menu don’t be overwhelmed when 10 people order it . Was 1.5 hours before we got 2nd course. Good value for money though

User

Had a Sunday lunch of roast beef 2 very small slices of beef 2 very small roast potatoes very small amount of broccoli & a Yorkshire pudding 2 drinks £50.00 for two complete rip off !!!
