The Art Garden

The Art Garden is a pop up art club for children aged from 5 to 11. Fun activities for small groups in a professionally equipped art studio.

The Art Garden was started in 2012 by me, Marian Fairley and originally provided after school art and animation clubs at a number of primary schools in Bournemouth, regularly attended by up to 200 children every week. However since the arrival of our daughter last year, I am now offering the same activities and specialist tuition for small groups from the purpose-built studio in the garden of our home in the Charminster area of Bournemouth.

The Art Garden is all about exploring, fun, developing skills, making a mess and meeting friends. We have created a place for children offering professional art space with access to the garden and the comforts of a home from home.

The Art Garden offers mixed media art classes for children, birthday art or animation parties and holiday workshops. We use high quality artists’ materials and while your child is getting messy and having fun, they are also learning about art history, different mediums, shapes and textures and developing skills in problem –solving, communication and invention.
