Due to roadworks directly outside The Artichoke the road diversions have been put into place. Please use the Ellingham entrance to Yarmouth Road if you are accessing us my car or Willow Lane.
We ARE open ALL week as normal and remember tomorrow (Tuesday 14th) is Quiz night 7:30 start

Lovely food, such friendly and helpful staff, lovely location

I have always disliked beer, however this place has lovely flavoured beer...eg/ raspberry, cherry and peach. The flavours change every once in awhile. The wait staff are friendly helpful and accomadating. The food is lovely too. I would recommend it. Posted by a Canadian who normally would not drink beer, ale, stout or any other choices there may be.

Had roast pork Sunday lunch which was excellent - great value and the rum and raisin homemade ice cream was delicious

Had a short but very enjoyable visit to the Artichoke as part of a recent Norwich & Norfolk CAMRA coach trip. The staff were all very friendly and there was a good choice of beer available, all of which was kept in excellent condition. Definitely the best pub we visited that day. Looking forward to a return visit sometime!

Beautiful tradition pub with a beautiful garden. Loads of ales, including a tap room with even more. Lovely staff, haven't tried to food yet but can't wait to because every meal I've seen go out looks fantastic.

After a long weekend of walking and camping with the dogs we needed some lunch so we found this little pub. We asked if dogs were allowed in the garden and we're greeted with a very friendly yes. I ordered drinks at the bar and we were offered a big bowl of water for our four legged friends. Staff were very accommodating and lovely and the sausage, bacon and fried onion baps with cheesey chips was just want we needed. Would definitely recommend this little place �

Absolutely gorgeous pub. We visited last week and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We came with my wheelchair bound mother, and they were very helpful and accommodating. The food was terrific too, and I was most impressed to see Thatcher's Haze cider on tap! Unfortunately it is quit a long way away for us, but we will come again when we can.
