An-almost-Summer-Spring-Day for Frances and Oliver. The couple supplied own drinks and the alcohol was all from Adnams, their locally brewery in Southwold. Brides father had some involvement in the growing of the barley for the brewery, so a lovely touch that they got to have this on their wedding day! This couple have travelled a lot together, have a great love of mountains and climbing and walks including The Roaches!! They even had a game from their travelling days in Peru... for guests to play during drinks reception.

A very proud Dad was emotional when he saw his one and only daughter in her wedding gown. The Groom's face when he saw his stunning Bride walk towards him was a picture of awe. "We got married on 18th April 2018. From the first time we visited the venue to our wedding day we were in love. The Events Team was great and our Event Manager, Jayne, was very helpful throughout our planning. The catering by Jenkinsons was brilliant and everybody loved the food. We would like to say a huge thank you to the Ashes in particularly our wedding organiser Lisa not only was she so helpfully during our wedding plans she was there from morning to midnight to ensure thst everything went smoothly.

The venue is a stunning place to get married you could have whatever you wish for, they made our dreams come true.

We had Angel an owl that brought us our wedding rings which was amazing, we would like to thank Wendy from Flying the knot.

Also to Erika from tickity boo Cheddleton for making our cake just as we had designed it, all three layes were so beautifully tasty, my wife sue made the cake topper which we can keep for the rest of our lives.

The flowers from Sarah Plant from Haughton Stafford were beautiful not only our bouquets but also our table decorations too, she made some lovely finishing touches for free just because she cares so much.

Also Joe from One Little daisy for the fantastic photos we've received so far, we can't wait to see the rest.

And lastly to Andy "doodle" Baker who entertained everyone with incredible characatur that were a great keep sakes for our guests.

We were married on Saturday at The Ashes and the day was seamless from start to finish. Steph was a fantastic calming presence and we can’t thank her enough for the work she put in to making the day so beautiful.

All our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how the staff were all total professionals who couldn’t do enough for you.

We had the most perfect wedding day thanks to the team, Jenkinsons caterers and in particular Sarah Bootherstone, our wedding planner. The team were so helpful and always available to answer questions in the 18 months before the wedding, they made it so easy! We are so grateful to Sarah for being so amazing on the day, really went above and beyond. I had guests telling me it was the best wedding they've ever been to and the best wedding food they have ever had. I'd also recommend Joe from one little daisy photography, such a nice guy. We also stayed at a beautiful cottage called Gorsthead Mill Farm that has 5 rooms, 15 mins away. One of my guests is looking to get married here, hope they do, i'd love to come back. We got married on Sat 2 Dec exactly a year after we got engaged in New York, from the moment we drove up the Ashes Drive we knew that's where we wanted to get married, we were shown around and the date 2nd Dec was available, from day one everyone was so helpful and the online planner was great for tips, advice and keeping upto date with everything.

We attended our taster event night to see and taste the food and see the venue dressed it was an excellent night.

Every single detail of our day was perfect (apart from the drizzle) the staff and the food were absolutely amazing and everyone commented how fabulous it was, Stephanie was our event manager she was amazing and was always there to answer our questions on the lead up to the big day we can't thank her enough for everything she did, also the jenkinson staff were fantastic the service and the food were excellent, it was a day we shall never forget and it's so sad it's over but we will treasure the memories forever.

We got married here on 2/4/18 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From start to finish all of the staff made sure that our day was special. On the day itself Steph really looked after us and made sure the day flowed perfectly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We got married at the ashes at the end of may 2018. I could not recommend them more. It's so well organised, we had quite a DIY wedding with few contractors so we could save money, having the venue think of everything and do all the setup made it really easy to do this (we were anticipating everything being so much more stressful than it was). The venue itself is beautiful and the grounds are also lovely. The thing that really made the ashes great was the staff, they made everything so easy all the way through the planning process and it was amazing to turn up on our wedding day and see the venue set up exactly like we had pictured it when we were planning the wedding. Our designated planner was Vikki and she was brilliant throughout, but all the planners I had dealings with were friendly and helpful. I hope someone I know gets married there so I am able to visit as a wedding guest sometime too.

We had so many comments from guests about how lovely, approachable and accommodating all of the staff were on the day and they are so well organised! We were really impressed with how smoothly the drop off and collection of our decorations were and the thought and attention to detail that went into decorating the venue for us.

The taster evening was absolutely fantastic for us to get a picture of being a wedding guest there and talk to other couples planning their big day at the Ashes!

Our allocated wedding planner was incredible in promptly answering all our questions on the run up, and when she was poorly on the day, the other staff made sure that absolutely everything went to plan! Nothing was too much to ask and the communication was brilliant all day!

The Ashes is a beautiful venue and we are so so happy that we chose to get married here not just because it looked so lovely and felt so special but because of how stress free and beautiful the staff made our day! We couldn’t thank you or recommend you enough!

We got married at The Ashes on the 12th of November and it was fabulous. It absolutely poured down and still all of our guests commented on what a gorgeous venue it is, so no need to worry about the weather here!



Every member of the team is so friendly and happy to help, from making our booking, the wedding experience evening, our countless emails and visits leading up to the day, dropping off our decorations the day before and the day itself.



Our wedding planner was the wonderful Dawn who worked so hard for us to make sure everything was perfect, always with a smile on her face! So many of our guests complimented her on how hard she worked and how lovely she was.



The whole team did everything they could to make the day run smoothly - our cake topper had broken in transit and Dave from the restoration team fixed it for us without us even asking; we had an issue with the bulbs in our festoon lighting, and Sarah B helped to organise replacements with the supplier and the restoration team helped my Dad to change them all. Everyone at The Ashes is a complete pro and they know exactly what they're doing to make your wedding day run like clockwork.



We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough, and if you're thinking of getting married here, you won't regret it! Thank you to everyone involved in making our wedding day perfect! �

We got married at The Ashes on Thursday 5th April and the day could not have been more perfect!! Jordan and I visited the barns over two years ago and instantly loved its rustic charm and stunning grounds! We got married at The Ashes on 21/12/2017. It was the first and only wedding venue we viewed as we knew straight away it was perfect for us. The setting is just beautiful, with the long drive and lake, and the barns were just what we were looking for - a smaller, more intimate Barn for the ceremony and then a larger barn for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations!

All the staff were so helpful and prompt to reply whenever we had a question during the 18 months of planning. They helped with all the details, and gave great ideas and advice, which was much needed and appreciated!

We loved the taster evening which we attended. It was the first time we saw the barns set our properly for an event and it helped us confirm our food choices - we even made a new choice based on that evening which we hadn't considered before (it was the Mango and Brie parcels for starter, they are delicious!). The food from Jenkinsons is incredible and we received so many positive comments about the standard of the food on the day.

Steph was our Event Manager and she was just brilliant! Steph was there from start to finish on the wedding day and it was so nice to have someone you could completely trust to help keep the day running smoothly.

We can't thank The Ashes enough for our perfect day and we can't recommend it highly enough.

The Ashes is a beautiful venue and we are so so happy that we chose to get married here not just because it looked so lovely and felt so special but because of how stress free and beautiful the staff made our day! We couldn’t thank you or recommend you enough!

We got married at The Ashes on the 12th of November and it was fabulous. It absolutely poured down and still all of our guests commented on what a gorgeous venue it is, so no need to worry about the weather here!



Every member of the team is so friendly and happy to help, from making our booking, the wedding experience evening, our countless emails and visits leading up to the day, dropping off our decorations the day before and the day itself.



Our wedding planner was the wonderful Dawn who worked so hard for us to make sure everything was perfect, always with a smile on her face! So many of our guests complimented her on how hard she worked and how lovely she was.



The whole team did everything they could to make the day run smoothly - our cake topper had broken in transit and Dave from the restoration team fixed it for us without us even asking; we had an issue with the bulbs in our festoon lighting, and Sarah B helped to organise replacements with the supplier and the restoration team helped my Dad to change them all. Everyone at The Ashes is a complete pro and they know exactly what they're doing to make your wedding day run like clockwork.



We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough, and if you're thinking of getting married here, you won't regret it! Thank you to everyone involved in making our wedding day perfect! �

We got married at The Ashes on Thursday 5th April and the day could not have been more perfect!! Jordan and I visited the barns over two years ago and instantly loved its rustic charm and stunning grounds! The Ashes team made the planning process so enjoyable and stress free and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Steph, our event manager on the day, was absolutely AMAZING! She made us feel so at ease and she is truly fantastic at her job!! Our guests were also blown away by the venue and spoke so highly of all the catering staff for providing such great service on the day. We got married at The Ashes on 21/12/2017. It was the first and only wedding venue we viewed as we knew straight away it was perfect for us. The setting is just beautiful, with the long drive and lake, and the barns were just what we were looking for - a smaller, more intimate Barn for the ceremony and then a larger barn for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations!

All the staff were so helpful and prompt to reply whenever we had a question during the 18 months of planning. They helped with all the details, and gave great ideas and advice, which was much needed and appreciated!

We loved the taster evening which we attended. It was the first time we saw the barns set our properly for an event and it helped us confirm our food choices - we even made a new choice based on that evening which we hadn't considered before (it was the Mango and Brie parcels for starter, they are delicious!). The food from Jenkinsons is incredible and we received so many positive comments about the standard of the food on the day.

Steph was our Event Manager and she was just brilliant! Steph was there from start to finish on the wedding day and it was so nice to have someone you could completely trust to help keep the day running smoothly.

We fell in love with The Ashes the first time we viewed it and we were so happy we could book a date. The communication from the team the whole way through was great and the taster evening was a fab way to see the venue dressed.



The whole team are fantastic and made our wedding morning relaxed by setting everything up and making the rain not matter a single bit.



Stephanie was our wedding coordinator and I can not express how amazing she is. She had everything under control and made us feel relaxed and able to just enjoy the day. She even came to the rescue with contact lens fluid! Her enthusiasm and love for her job clearly shows and helps make your day extra special.

My husband and I got married at the Ashes at the end of June - just wow! The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautiful countryside all around and the barns have been really well done up. So many of our guests have commented on the venue and how perfect it was! But it would have been nothing without our amazing wedding coordinator Lisa, who made the day run perfectly. From our first meeting to her bidding us goodnight at the end of the night, Lisa was incredibly helpful and friendly, from small touches (making sure my train on my wedding dress was properly laid out before I walked down the aisle!) to the bigger things (my idiotic husband brought the wedding cake to the venue on the day with no idea how to put the dowels on it � and she told him to leave it to her). We were married on Saturday at The Ashes and the day was seamless from start to finish. Steph was a fantastic calming presence and we can’t thank her enough for the work she put in to making the day so beautiful.

We had the most perfect wedding day thanks to the team, Jenkinsons caterers and in particular Sarah Bootherstone, our wedding planner. The team were so helpful and always available to answer questions in the 18 months before the wedding, they made it so easy! We are so grateful to Sarah for being so amazing on the day, really went above and beyond. I had guests telling me it was the best wedding they've ever been to and the best wedding food they have ever had. I'd also recommend Joe from one little daisy photography, such a nice guy. We also stayed at a beautiful cottage called Gorsthead Mill Farm that has 5 rooms, 15 mins away. One of my guests is looking to get married here, hope they do, i'd love to come back. We got married on Sat 2 Dec exactly a year after we got engaged in New York, from the moment we drove up the Ashes Drive we knew that's where we wanted to get married, we were shown around and the date 2nd Dec was available, from day one everyone was so helpful and the online planner was great for tips, advice and keeping upto date with everything.

We attended our taster event night to see and taste the food and see the venue dressed it was an excellent night.

Every single detail of our day was perfect (apart from the drizzle) the staff and the food were absolutely amazing and everyone commented how fabulous it was, Stephanie was our event manager she was amazing and was always there to answer our questions on the lead up to the big day we can't thank her enough for everything she did, also the jenkinson staff were fantastic the service and the food were excellent, it was a day we shall never forget and it's so sad it's over but we will treasure the memories forever.

We got married here on 2/4/18 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From start to finish all of the staff made sure that our day was special. On the day itself Steph really looked after us and made sure the day flowed perfectly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We got married at the ashes at the end of may 2018. I could not recommend them more. It's so well organised, we had quite a DIY wedding with few contractors so we could save money, having the venue think of everything and do all the setup made it really easy to do this (we were anticipating everything being so much more stressful than it was). The venue itself is beautiful and the grounds are also lovely. The thing that really made the ashes great was the staff, they made everything so easy all the way through the planning process and it was amazing to turn up on our wedding day and see the venue set up exactly like we had pictured it when we were planning the wedding. Our designated planner was Vikki and she was brilliant throughout, but all the planners I had dealings with were friendly and helpful. I hope someone I know gets married there so I am able to visit as a wedding guest sometime too.
