Would just like to say a massive thankyou to the team at the Avon Causeway Inn for the most wonderful Christmas lunch. The staff were attentive and jolly with smiling faces and couldn't do enough for us. We had 3 young children in our party who were really looked after. Of course the food: absolutely outstanding � well done to all involved you made our Christmas day very special � from the Adams family xx

What a find..... a great pub space - Wine choices were lovely, fires were extremely welcoming- it's dog friendly has several bar spaces to suit small crowds or those that want. Quiet pint- we were there for a murder mystery night in the old Pullman railway carriage and its was GREAT - food was lovely and HUGE portions. our room was cosy - newly refurbished it was perfect for our short stay - loved the soap and shampoo with ginseng - v nice staff were very friendly - breakfast was of a good quality with lots of choice - all the tea and coffee you can drink - the eggs benedict was lush... would love to know if you decide to have dog friendly rooms as we would love to come down with the pups

We stayed the night here prior to flying from Bournemouth airport. So very pleased we did, the whole place is so welcoming and beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Our room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely bar which we spent the evening in and the food and service were excellent. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for accommodation and food.

Simply brilliant! Great beers and ciders, food came quickly and as ordered. Staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Definitely recommend and definitely be back.

Pulled into the car park in my motorhome and was told park were you like, take up as many bays as you need. Thanks I will. Booked a table in the restaurant and had a very nice meal. Very friendly staff and a pleasant evening. Recommend. Call ahead if your in a MH though just incase.

Our 2nd time there for one night as catching early morning flight. Love it, cant adk for anything better .

Only stayed for one night but loved it. Comfortable room and excellent food. Can thoroughly recommend it.

Clearly a lot of work and effort had gone into making it a fun experience for the little ones

The bbq food was delicious and the choice of different burgers and sausages outstanding

Would also like to add that the staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble

Lovely hotel good food brilliant staff. We had a bit of a personal problem during our stay which was no fault of the hotel and they couldn't have been more sympathetic and helpfull. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Love gem of a place. Traveling alone and sometimes I feel almost too scared to eat on my own but felt fine in such a friendly bar. Great food. Fab Staff. Yummy Eggs Benedict for breakfast. Oh and stole all the lovely smelling toiletries in my room to take home.

Great food, always freshly prepared using locally sourced produce. Excellent choice of real ales and fine wines.

After speaking to the staff at the Avon Causeway about a vegan option prior to going there this evening, I was made one deeeelicious vegan pizza! The chef at the Avon Causeway has outdone him or herself, especially as this was specially arranged. A soft, crisp yet chewy dough, spicy, flavoursome peppers, tomatoes, onions, herbs and flowers! My compliments and gratitude to the chef! The service was also fantastic. I will definitely go again! 😁🍕🌿 (just pretend the salami isn't on that emoji - there was nothing animal-based on the pizza. 😊)

After an initial blip with the double booking of the Pullman carriage, which meant we had to move to the main restaurant. I have to say the issue was dealt with professionally & fairly. We were looked after really well & even tho we were a large party of 22 the food was of a high standard as usual, something you can't always rely on with large party bookings elsewhere.

Having recently been diagnosed coeliac, it's a scary thought going out to eat. Usually places don't cater or have very little options to choose from. However I was pleasantly surprised. They had an actual printed gluten free menu with loads of options on. I chose a pizza, the same toppings as my friend, the only disappointing thing was the size of mine in comparison. It was nice, but hers looked amazing.

But thank you for being 'on it' and having the options.

Never going back - very rude waitress.

Food was lovely although pricey. The trouble was it took way too long to be served, it was busy but not packed. When I queried the wait I was told by a fairly rude bar person that we were to be served next but that food was ‘made to order’. Surprising as it came out lukewarm. Great setting though and as I say the food was nice when it came, shame about the wait and the bad attitude
